today our postal carriers are having a food drive.. i was showing my hubby the things i rounded up and asked about giving something else...he said...no...i said: "well, why shouldn't we, we have plenty"..he then said "sure".. we then had a discussion about if jw's ever give on such occasions for food drives.

i for one, did not, and i am ashamed to say that too.. so, did you give to food drives when you were a jw?.

i put this in humour, but it makes me want to vomit hard

i receieved this "poem" from some witness chick who sent it as a forward to myself and a whole bunch of other dubs.

my sister received it from someone else and i have other friends who received it from other sources.

im sure every young witness who has email has received it by now, and it's the most sickening, disheartening thing i have seen in a long time.

we really need two incomes, but my husband won't let me work. He says it would make him look bad to the other elders. But we manage. I think we'd have more money if he didn't drink so much beer after work, but I know he's stressed. That's probably why he yells at me sometimes. I know I should do better about having everything ready for meeting nights so he doesn't have to rush around.

This was my first marriage.

I'll take another pill, or maybe two.

I'm Taking on the C.O.

i have been sick and tired of not doing anything about the constant lies i get from the wt organization on various issues such as the u.n. no one from my parents to brooklyn can give me a straight answer on anything.

so, yesterday, i decided to take a different approach.

i live near a kh that actually has a apartment built on to the side of it for the co who serves all of the kh's in my area including my old hall that is over an hour away from where i currently live.

well, this is obviously rupert everett, but when i ran across this pic of him while playing fmz's "gimme" game here, i was surprised to find how much they resemble each other, from this distance, anyway.

same face shape, brow line, hairline, coloring, build, hair color, height (i think - he's 6' 3").

so you can just imagine him on the way to the convention (minus the cuff links).
