I dont plan on going to that place anymore! I have to been to plenty of chinese food places. One waiter offered to take a picture of us with the baby when he saw we had a camera on the table. Its just that one place. It make me made to think of how they treat people like sh*t. I was a waitress once when I was 16 so I know both sides also.

We went to a chinese restaraunt this weekend. The whole experience started off bad. The minute we walked in, the waitreses looked me up and down and started talking chinese loudly to each other. I took offense to that because it felt like they were talking about me. Anyways we started eating and another waitress walked by us muttering something under her breath pointing under the table. The baby had dropped some food under the table so I picked it up. Two seconds later the B*TCH came and started sweeping it up hitting my foot with the broom repeatedly. I said "excuse me mam but we are still eating and you are being rude". She said "I know". I said "you need to learn some manners". She walked away muttering something else. We were so upset we couldnt finish our dinner. She slapped the check on the table and she overcharged us. So we took it to the manager and she got upset also talking chinese really loud and the waitress was getting mad again.
So she fixed the bill and I told her she had a rude staff. After i explained what happened she said "you cant leave food on the floor". I said" I didnt leave food on the floor I was picking it up as she was dropping it". She didnt say anthing and I left on that note.
My question is do you all think that they were being racist? Their restaraunt wasnt spotless for her to just focus on us. Is it rude to speak a diffrent language infront of people know we dont understand it when they can perfectly speak english? Could I have walked out with paying without getting arrested?

by LyinEyes inafter reading megadudes review of what he thought of the movie, i really want to see it now.. gore doesn't really bother me in movies, like braveheart, saving private ryan etc.
i hate the slasher movies for the sake of gore thou.. i guess i am the type of person that is so curious about everything, that even if it is gorey, i would want to know what jesus went thru, as painful as it may be to watch.. but should you let your children see it........ since i havent seen it , i was wondering for those who have seen it,,,,,,,,would you let your kids see it?.

I agree each teen is different as far as maturity. I do keep in mind that children are exposed to rated x stuff at school everyday.

My 12 year old ended up seeing Freddy vs Jason. Didnt bother her. She is a good girl makes good grades and communicates well with me. So I will let her see it if she wants to. I will leave it up to her.

Are You a "Mess" Since Leaving The Organization or Are You OK?
by minimus inmost people have left the organization because of emotional issues.
the feeling that there is no real love or fellow feeling seems to get at people.
it gnaws at them.

Family Man, IMO actions speak louder than words. I think you need to show how much fun the world is. Take a vaction with your family to get their minds off of things. Show her that life is not about religion but about how much she is loved and treasured. Always reassure her, telling her how much more she means to you than any religion. If she isnt talking to you then there might be a problem.

I have a low self confidence issue. I am always trying to find ways to improve my appearence. For some reason being a JW made me feel ugly phsically perhaps it was the stupid dress code. Or perhaps it was my exs fixation of porn. I was suicidal myself also taking lots of sleeping pills at night. I lost a lot of weight. I was forced to stay at home, the kids were forced to stay at home. I lost myself in music and thats the place I found myself in lyrics that matched my life. And I had an anger that I took to MBs from that band and I met alot of friends and I started chatting with one. So when my ex found the stuff on the pc he threatend to call the elders but didnt. It was because he was one also and didnt want to look bad infront of his "freinds" for not being able to control me and all.
Ok I went way off topic. Yes I am still messed over, but yes I have healed alot.
Thanks for letting me vent on this thread.

Baby Beesh. That is the worst.
But just because their names are bad doesnt mean that they arent good. Take Lit for example, their name is funny but their music is the sh*t, also weezer, foo fighters, finch, I like to many to name
