Dear Roaming,
Guess it's all in you how type it!
Be careful calling SC wonderful. I said he was a great guy, but then he reminded me that I had previously called him a dork - like his wife did.
ok, it seems like we need to start setting up some rules and regulations as 'common sense' doesn;t seem to work for everyone.. rule 1. no personal attacks / insults.
feel free to submit any rules (or guidelines) that you think would help.

regarding the new light on blood and the different components we need to be aware of i think it will be very difficult for individuals to figure out what they can choose to take and what not.. regardless of the status the aithful and discreet slave has assigned each of these components one thing should still be kept in mind.
even the smallest amount of blood fraction requires a lot of blood most of this though blood donations.. for eg:.
albumin is often used to treat burns.
Dear Maxee,
Thanks for your post, could you tell us where or what your source material is? I've read about France & problems, never seen a full fledged discussion of it.
What ad?
What Catholic journal and where is source for asking Catholics to come to bat for them in France?
Sure would appreciate information - thanks.
As for your question about blood donations in view that some components take massive quantities of blood to obtain:
Isn't that how traditionally JW's have viewed charities? We don't give to them, but if we need them, we take from them? Same type of standard is being applied.
This may not be the written message in either case, but on a local level, this sometimes is the reality.
I'm trying very hard to qualify my statements - but the thoughts are the same.
lately i have spent some time responding to various subjects on this forum.
at this time it seems a bit necessary that i address something about myself in the hopes that it will clear up some misunderstandings.
first of all, i am not a defender of the watch tower bible & tract society.
Dear Friend and SC,
Along with SC, I noticed your comment as well.
Along with SC, may I please add my request that you claify your statement, as in SC's questions?

YO 7!!!!!
How are you tonite? I've argued with good and bad, and Friend is good, in my humble opinion. He can turn persons round in circles - and then say that they're too simplistic to realize that they have given a circular argument. I know, I've been a recipient of his teaching.
Just makes me dizzy thinking about it. His posts, particularily on the blood issue - not here - but on the H20 Forum outpost, is really good, not so much for the Society, but for thinking and compatability between thoughts of brothers and others. It was a good post.
However, the way he posted to persons on H20 is rather like the way he posts to us. I think we're in a odd situation - and my therepist said I understate things.
Other than that......seems to have calmed down, huh? Frenchy has the longest jokes, how 'bout you?
I haven't been exposed to many great thinkers and visionaries, I've been a JW for 30 years.

Dear Friend,
I have very little doubt that you are an active Jehovah's Witness.
Very enlightning evening.

Clinton and Hitler don't defend the Society - all the time.
I concede, I may be wrong, but just think about it.
Is Clinton articulate?

Hi, Red Horse, SC, and Friend,
Please go to the topic WHAT SIMON DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW asap. Close to the end is Friend's response to me about postings. He gives 4 or 5 sites where he has or is currently posting and the quick URL (?) way to get to these discussions..
Fascinating enough, there is a spirited, long, discussion of Jimmy Swaggart on H20 dated 12/99 under the same name. Friend uses very pointed arguments for the Society and it would be WELL worth your time to visit. Made me sit back and think.
Also at Discussion.Witnesses (?) there is a long thread on Freedom of Thought 5/25/00. Furman is not long for that net, in my opinion.
I'm going back now to read Friend's posts more. I have been reading with too much emotion in our forum. It is enlightning to read Friend's posts on other forums.
Our Circuit Overseer just visited our congregation. I felt the same way after reading Friend's posts. Spiritually upbuilt, specifically towards the Society.
Thank you, Friend, you are knowledgeable.
Hello,
I've just come from a long time at the post WHAT SIMON DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW, and specifically Friend's irrated answer to me. (I asked him too many questions and was rude.)
But most fascinating is the links that he gives of discussions that he has had, or is currently having on different websites. I have been reading intently for over an hour and greatly impressed by Friend's articulation on many matters - and I'm only half way through his posts.
He was right - he has written "tons". Please review Friend's posts - I swear, even if I were at the Kingdom Hall listening to our visiting CO, or someone from Bethel, I could not listen to a better discussion on the value of our Society.
It was most spiritually refreshing. Thank you, Friend.
dear truthbknown,.
don't be so afraid to let the truthbknown!
devoting yourself to men and their rules puts you in a precarious position with jehovah.
Hey, mgm.
Thanks for the thoughts - never heard it put that way. Makes one think about where our priorities are located, huh?
I'm still a witness, but for the first time in 30 years, have been absent from all meetings for 2 months. Just needed some thinking and reading time.
Time well spent, but so far is not making me a stronger JW - I really don't believe the organization is evil, etc. - just perhaps not who they have presented themselves as, our only channel to God.
To Frenchy - Gun shy? Bullet ridden!!!!!!!
okay, it appears that some of you are venturing forth onto the literary scene.
i feel it my obligation to present to you a few basic faux pas that should be avoided if you are going to survive in this very volatile environment.
today, the emphasis is on being politically correct.
Dear Frenchy,
There is a restaurant called Tiny Pecker? I thought that referred to light eaters.
