Sadly, my adult child thinks this is all too wonderful. Makes me soooooo sad.

by passwordprotected ini've heard about his bombastic, overly patronising, cartoon-ish delivery before, but i'd never actually seen it...until now.
and i should add, this religion bears little to no relation to the one i left 6 years ago.. .

4) use your time to wake others up
its hard and can be scarry at first, but learn to ask open ended questions designed to spark people and make them think. Pepper them in to comments During the meeting. Have something in mind thats being discussed on the meeting and frame an innocent question designed to give a subtle nudge. You maybe supprised at who will give a subtle nod of knowing or who will privatly admit they see where you going and agree with you. Keep it subtle, always leave yourself wiggle room, and have fun with a subservise attitude. it WILL help some, even if you dont see it right away.
Best use of your time is #4. If you have a rough timeframe in mind of how long you'll be stuck in the bOrg, make it your goal to wake up at least one other person per year/6 months/3 months etc.
And be sure to turn in your time spent at meetings helping others to know TTATT as "field service".

What makes people so greedy/jealous/unthankful
by hoser inthe owner of the company that i work for was talking to me today about his brother who chose a different line of business and makes more money than him.
he seems to be upset about his choice of work.
but when when i look around this guys yard he has done very well for himself but apparantly not as well as his brother.

There will always be people who define their "success" by their business dealings, relative wealth, and sense of power. They fail to realize that none of that truly matters in the long run, and that while financial prosperity brings a measure of security, it also adds layers of insecurity and worry about the future. People who are happy in their own skin, who love others and consider everyone as an equal, tend not to require wealth and toys to be happy.
