Mainstream Muslims are declaring that such actions are horrible!! Christian nations are blaming ISLAM and its beliefs for all that they are doing. The fact is ISIS is doing EXACTLY what their god did. The god of Moses JEHOVAH which ISLAM / CHRISTIANITY / JUDAISM all claim told his people in the past to perform all of the same acts that ISIS currently carries out.

You wanna talk about taking young girls and women and forcing them to be your wife/slave? OLD TESTAMENT

Because in order for Britian to be what it is and what it was in the past it got there by the most disgusting means imaginable. It broke up and destroyed the cultures and kingdoms of hundreds of nations and then used these lands as their personal bank.

Ultimately the people of a nation should be in complete control of their own destiny. Regardless of how nice the relationship is with the "Mother" nation, they will never repeat never implement policies that are 100% in your favor.
I still wonder how people feel knowing that Brit nuclear weapons are housed there. It would be wonderful if somehow that was taken care of.

Of course everyone and their mother will make it seem as if seperating from the teet will lead to your demise. Obviously that is what they want you to think so they can continue to benefit from the resources that get from you.

I loathe authority
by punkofnice innow i'm not preaching hatred here i am just expressing how i've felt for years even when i was a jw.. i totally loathe the police/policticians...any authority......anyone that is over anyone else.
i have a total hatred of them all.
i wonder if it's because i was raised a jw?.

Why do people support abusers in the NFL?
by Simon ini really don't get it.. in most sports in most countries your career is rightly over if you commit certain crimes.. but not in the good old nfl !.
it seems players can rape, beat women, abuse children, fight dogs ... and they will not only be allowed to play but they will have an army of fans wearing their names on their shirts and cheering them on.. the abuse and arrogant attitudes seem to exist at all levels - it seems like there is an endless feed of news stories where some high-school or college football players have abused or raped girls and they end up being allowed back to play and people rallying round as though *they* are the victims.. surely, whatever someone's skills as an athlete are, there are some things that simply can't be excused?.
or is winning truly 'everything' and it doesn't matter the cost?.

It's similar to soccer... The players bite one another and kick and punch one another on field. Then the fans in the seats often attack one another.
The fans in many places hurl racial slurs at one another and throw fruit on the field etc...
It would appear that the problem is that people put to high of a value on sports and it's athletes in general.

Laika... that was my point. They have their chance tomorrow.
Noting British history and down till today they have had many a nation under their thumb. Especially after watching multiple news reports and commentaries the last few days with SCOTS stating exactly what I said.
I have never seen brave heart so that reference to it means nothing.

What if the Scottish want to take the chance to strike out on their own and make a go of it. Why do they not deserve that chance. In a hundred or 150 years from now who knows what they could be. The independance of Scotland should not hinge on how it will affect the rest of the world. Their only concern should be what they want as a nation. The U.S.A. made a go of it, why not the Scots if that is what they want as a majority.
If they are wrong they will have to deal with the consequences, but they deserve to have that choice. No sovereign nation should be under the thumb of another unless its what they want. Imperialism and Colonialism and all of its remnants need to go.
