New to The Jehovahs Witness Faith and need some help

i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.
we do about 2 bible studies a week.

An asteroid is coming in 2036
by Still Totally ADD ina friend of mine who is a astronomer told me a asteroid will hit the earth near ca in 2036. it will make a close pass by earth in 2029 and if it goes through a certain point he called a donut hole it will come back and get us in 2036. i asked him if it is big enough to cause problems?
he laugh and said it is extinction asteroid.
he went on to say the russians are already working on a plan to destroy it before in makes it here or try and change the course of it.

Again, although some publishers may not be aware of the YMCA issue, I do not know one eler who is not aware of it. After all the onbly way one would not understand that it is a problem is if they do not know what the letters Y M C A stand for, the C is for CHRISTIAN.
However all that aside, we have someone who has only been studying for 1 month who comes here to ask a question and then immediately begins defended the organization with the fervor of a 30+ year pioneer. Uses JW speak so early on. Says that they hung out for 4 months with a whole family of witnesses and no one ever made it know they were witnesses of tried to preach to her when the father himself is an elder? The elder lets his daughter and a bunch of others go to the YMCA every single morning and never tells her to stop? There were a number of other obvious signs as well.

I was an elder for years up until 2 years ago. Being a member of the ymca has never been a conscience matter.

I sent my DA letter in yesterday.
by quellycatface infeel like i've been in a car accident and i'm on the road to recovery....i wonder what will happen next??
my husband, (non jw) says he would'nt be surprised if they df'd me as one or two elders are quite spiteful.
can they can't fire me cos i quit, surely??.

quelly congrats for standing up for what you believe and actually getting opf the rolls of that disgusting org.
You can now move on with your life knowinbg you have no link to that vile group.

At my last elders schools the do mentioned the ymca being apostasy. The rank and file may not know but every single elder knows and c.o. and d.o.
There is no way that half the Congo is going to the ymca... The young men's Christian association.
No one with half a brain will believe the entire Congo elders included are doing this in the open.

I don't know about now... but back then no. There was nothing on any of the walls. It was an immaculately barren room with nothing but table chairs and the possible magazine covers for the next magazine and a TV hanging from each corner of the ceiling

Yes tech.. When I was there I had the honor of cleaning that room. The table was to be cleaned Only on Thursday after their Wednesday meeting with this thick pine tar like soultion. Air fresheners changed ever Thursday and perfect vacuum lines left in the carpet.
The chairs also just as you said where leather high back executive chairs... disgusting

That is not the room I cleaned while I was there the room they meet in is much wider the table inside is about 25th long and was rumored to be worth 200k.
I was given special s"solutions" to clean it with...
That is a far less elaborate portrayal for the public
