BTW AndersonsInfo i went to your site WatchtowerDocuments.org and listened to that convention talk from 1967 that speaks on 1975 possibly being the year that the world will be destroyed. I want to make a copy of it and mail it to my parents. They both refuse to admit that it was ever said. They have the bound volumes from those years... they were both baptized for years at that point but refuse to admit that any bropther ever stated that. What a shame.

Why get upset with the new WT donation system? It will still be a success...
by suavojr inwhen the wt went from charging for literature to voluntary donations, they took a hit but still survived.. i frankly see them having a high success once this new donation system is in place.
it will be a success and no dissenter or closet apostate will be able to stop it.
because although we hate the wt and would love to see them disappear, we cannot forget the ones inside will gladly donate, donate, donate.. just look at other churches!

You are 100% correct. I am starting to get the idea that although we think that somehow the Watchtower is more susceptible to crashing and burning than other religious oprganizations they aren't. As a matter of fact they have far more mindless people than the average religion so there really is no reason to think that somehow something huge will happen that will shake everyone up and cause some form of mass exodus. This arrangement will be like the 469348920348293 other arrangements they have implemented and that caused a handful to leave but resulted in 3 handfuls coming in as newbs.

Jon tattoos are personal statements that last forever. Even if your mind / heart change in regards to that statement it still serves as a roadmap to your life. ENJOY IT.
Just try not to put them on your face or neck because obviously that will get you blackballed by many. Christian values still make people look down on tattoos yet for centuries scarification and tattoos have been a huge part of nearly every culture. ENJOY YOUR INK AND POST PICTURES WHEN YOU GET IT.

I was in your boat... married 2 kids one with a disability and the stress had me on the verge of breakdown.
I was school overseer... tons of talks... committees etc.
When I informed them why I got love bombed for 2 weeks then they started treating me and my family like complete trash. It was so bad that it made my wife cry at times

Ok I am talking about the past as in the recent past... some of these things still going on.
You act as if Apartheid was the distant past you act as if for some reason the UNITED STATES ISNT still occupying this Land Mass. You act as if The European corruption in all of AFRICA is not continuing until today and as if the oppression is not still being enforced. You act as if the drone attacks killing innocent people in the middle east have stopped.
The problem here is that attention spans of people in this country are too short. You are quick to chastise other countries when just 30 - 50 years ago FAAAAAAAAR greater atrocities were carried out and people in this country and possibly your own family were cheering in the streets. Yet sopmething tells me that in 30 years you would still be angry at the things some Israelis are doing today.
