God encouraged it as well as:
Encouraged the death of animals for no good reason
burning down entire villages
Slavery and/or death of those that didn't agree to let the Israelites bust their ass and take their land
He encouraged throwing children against rocks and killing them
I could go one with the atrocities but I guess it doesn't matter since Jesus aparently likes to be the opposite of GOD. That is also strange that Jesus is the reflection of GOD and that he would do everything the exact same way god would if he was on the earth yet and still he does absolutely everything in a diferent way then the old testament god did.

Read your stories alone... They are nice stories still no proof god did it...
I had a JDub in out hall go in for surgery and refuse blood. Doctor called for the family because he was going to die. Blood count so low that he had no chance.
Not breathing etc...... all of a sudden the next morning he is doing well. Doctor says he has never seen anything like it before. So i guess God God gave those JDubs a miracle... guy ended up cheating on his wife and left her. He got hit by a car 3 years later... was in a coma. Came out of it and had dinner with me 2 weeks ago. God had nothing to do with it.
Why do people really think they are so special that god would save them or their kid yet not send a bowl of rice to the millions in Ethiopia and Sudan who are dying a slow painful death of malnutrition?

Then if I pass the bible to the next eprson standing their it says exactly what he needs to do. I mean who could dispute this??? Why not leave a personal message on a mountain saying, "He this is how you pronounce my name". No matter how you try destroy it nothing works. That would make it much easier to know that Bibkle God is true.
He did it for people back in the day but now has no reason too... yeah that makes sense.
It's like when you were 13 and that kid that says he has a 22 year old girlfriend that no one has ever seen from Canada, but he assures you she exists and they have sex everynight under the stars. You could believe him... but common sense tells you that he is lying

This reminds me of what my wife told me about an experience she had as a child in the Carribean.
There was a little girl of 7 in a pentecostal church. One day when a bunch of people started "catching the holy ghost" this little girl began speaking in tongues! She was filled with the spirit, then people in the church began talking in tongues as well. It was quite the experience.
The little girl went to different parts of the island and was well known. Some people were moved by her so much in a service they felt the spirit on them as well. She was recieving Christs gift.
3 years later she said she was faking and just speaking gibberish.
Now apparently all these people were nuts / lying or their minds and emotions caused them to think something was happening from a force that was not there ... that force is the mind.
I do however hope this person finds whatever it is they are seeking. Some people need religion to tell them what to do so when they fail at something they can always say they were doing gods will so it doens't matter if they are successful. They always have someone to blame and something to hope for.
