  Holocaust Remembrance Day & April 27th Watchtower Study Article

  since the watchtower magazines are printed long in advance, and the corporation needs to reach for anything they can to stay relevant, don't you think it's a bit coincidental that the article studied on holocaust remembrance day had a paragraph about, and a dramatic staged photo depiction of jws in nazi germany?

  did anyone else notice that, and is it just a coincidence?

  also, do you have examples of them employing that tactic with other hot button issues that will be of interest when their publications are scheduled to be considered?.

  If you are thinking about "Stepping Down" you better do it QUICK!

  the new arrangement for co's to handle deletions (and appointments) means you no longer will be able to give your friends on the body an excuse and step down.

  you will have to answer to the co and most likely have a long uncomfortable chat about everything with him in order to step down.

  so if you have been thinking about stepping down, you need to do it quick before the new arrangement..

  is there any thread/s in particular to read showing the changes in the past 5 years?

  Lot's of public friendly rebranding using only the letters JW.

  High end photoshoots, videography, and production trying to seem more like a mainstream religion.

  The internet is not as demonized as even 5 years ago. 'Apostate sites', social networks, and 'time wasting video sharing websites' still get flack in the magazines though.

  Speaking of magazines - the Awake has been cut down to 16 pages from 30 something.

  The cult is downsizing to hoarde $$$$$$$$

  Doctrine has been dumbed down, but JWs are still just as gullible.

  Did you REALLY think about the 'Great Tribulation'?

  according to wt doctrine jehovah's witnesses will be singled out and persecuted during a time described in this way: "for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the worlds beginning until now, no, nor will occur again.

  " according to the watchtower the devil will turn on god's people will all his might (if he really exists, why hasn't he done so already?

  ) in an attempt to wipe them out.. also, it's not promised that all jws will escape unscathed during this period of time.. even before i woke up fully to ttatt i really thought about what that meant.

  Even before I woke up fully to TTATT I really thought about what that meant. If that time period is to be WORSE than anything mankind has ever seen, then we could expect the levels of suffering being dished out to be worse than the genocides and suffering during WW1 & WW2, worse than the suffering of the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, worse than the suffering of the Vietnamese, Koreans, Afghans, Iraqis, Syrians, Israelis, Chechnians during times of war, worse than the Spanish Flu, and Black Plague, worse than the suffering of peoples tortured and killed by Genghis Khan, The Crusades, slaughtered by Roman, Assyrian, Babylonian, Sumerian, and Egyptian legions, worse than the goddamn supposed global flood of Noah's day!

  Now you tell me, have current JWs really thought that they could have their heads bashed in? Fingers and toes sliced off? Bled to death slowly over the course of several days? Tortured for months for info? Have their testicles crushed, slices off, jumped on, bored with hot metal, splashed with acid? Have their limbs shot off one by one? Have their family members drowned, strangled, gassed, or burned before them? Be raped and have their friends and family brutally raped before them regardless of gender???

  Did you think about and prepare mentally for these things? Not surface thinking, I mean really DEEPLY think about possibly going through those things to 'prove you were faithful'? Did you think about what seeing and feeling those things would be really like, or did you passively go along with that craziness like the rest of WT doctrine?

  congregations are to pledge a monthly amount to be sent to the society to fund the building of assembly halls and kingdom halls.

  congregations who already have a loan from the society will no longer have to pay back the loan but the amount pledged should not be less than the current monthly repayments to the society.

  @Emeth - LOL!!!! Are you single? Are you lonely? Need attention? You being a troll on this forum seems to be the most exciting part of your life, you sure spend allot of hours doing this. Why aren't you dedicating that time slaving for the Slave in field service? Why aren't you out using all this time spreading the truth that always changes? Allot of this thread is about YOU. Allot of people are responding to YOU. Feel better about yourself when you notice that? What if the members of this forum were to disfellowship you by not responding to anymore of your posts?

  SECRET SIGN FOR FADERS

  faders need a secret sign to use at the khall.

  the thought came to me after reading replies to datadogs post on stopping singing at the meetings.. i can suggest a few secret signs for faders to use and to look for at the khall, but it would be better that current meeting attenders make suggestions here.

  if readers on this site can agree to a secret sign to use at the meetings, just imagine the power that would have at your kingdom hall.
