wts attorney--morenowhos screwed?!?.
the legal liabilities are rapidly mounting for congregation elders & kingdom hall properties.
this will involve all legal matters especially pedophile cases.
Can you say "out of court settlements?" I knew you could.
Cha-ching!

jehovahs witnesses, resigned pastor draw battle line over child molestation coverup charges.
last month, bill bowen not only resigned as presiding overseer of jehovahs witnesses at draffenville.
bowen charged his denomination with a national policy of elders not reporting confessions made by child molesters to police.
Bowen says NBC’s “Dateline” will start interviewing people for a report.
Cool. I can't wait.

ianao,
I thought your last post was brilliant. It exposes the WTS's justification for the "doublespeak".

should a true christian drink a cappucino?.
perhaps you have never considered the matter, but what are the origins of this popular beverage?.
the name cappucino is derived from the word to describe the bones of 4,000 capuchin friars in rome, italy.
Oh, man! Just when I thought I had rid myself of demons, they come back in my cappucino! No, no wait, TR, the WTS has endorsed cappucino in print! Yeah yeah, it's OK! But, what if they find out about the bones of the friars and reverse their position? And, and what if they flip flop back when they see how rediculous it is, only to do yet another reversal? Oh, I can't stand the stress of it all!
Oh Jehovah, why can't your organization get the right answer from you? Hold on...channeling now...channeling...Jehovah? Wassup JAH?! What? The GB really stands for "Geriatric Baffoons"? Oh, I see. Yeah, you're right, they don't know shit from shinola!
May we please hear from JW's or their supporters on this matter? This is but a small example of the hypocracy of WTS doctrine that we all have come to know and love.[8>]

danielle.....you have spent many hours on this board chastizing those apostates, quoting verse, giving us text from the watchtower..... you maybe have even counted your time here( i would).
however in my reading of posts and responses, i sensed a lack of somthing in your efforts to correct and lead the fallen ones back to jehovah.... after much thought and prayerful consideration, i realized it was the lack of agape love for the brothers and sisters who reside here.. what is the verse about our charity and preaching, our works and good deeds...if they are done with out love, they are like a clanging gong.
and what was the greatest of all the commands?????
Critter,
You're right. A little love goes a long way. It applies to us all.

this is sort of a take-off of the "what should the wt do" thread.. i need to get together a board of directors and elect a president and officers.
we need to figure out a doctrine, a manifesto, and a set of disciplinary rules.
we need to figure out a way to fund our new movement.
TW,
It's been two years since I've been to Vegas. I seriously want to go this year.
Anyone up for planning a get together in Vegas this year? Or maybe Reno. I love Tahoe, the public beach at Sand Harbor is fantastic! I'm serious. You can leave your bookbags home this time!

witnesses.net's and (a couple of years ago) hourglass2's the old hippie modestly says "hello" and enters if not the building then at least the area.
live in europe, am - (i am sorry to say) - a countryman of the unholy trinity consisting of kent, jan h. and norm, and thus well updated with the practises of the observer-thing.
do not support the majority of what they think or do.
Hi, TheOldHippie!
I Remember your posts at Witnet. Check out the sex forum. That's where people's bio's are. Don't ask, it was Waiting's idea.

caught this nugget in news of the weird, a united features syndicate by chuck shepard (clipped from creative loafing in atlanta, ga).
god's will.
a 45-year old woman who was killed as she walked onto i-55 near sherman, ill., in october was revealed to have been a member of a jehovah's witnesses breakaway group that believes they should test their faith (much like snake-handlers do) by standing in the middle of traffic.
Seven,
Will you be jumping feet first or diving?(couldn't help myself)

Hi, Gloria
A lot of the comments that I have read seem somewhat harsh toward the Witnesses.
Well, if you read the initial posts especially by "Danielle", you'll see why we've given them a hard time.
logical said:
Read the posts by MDS, Jr, bjc and myself. Im sure you will find a lot of eye-opening information.
No, don't read those posts. They're useless and full of crap.
Just kidding. Read 'em if you want, but they're still useless and full of crap.
