just by knowing what will happen, that doesn't mean that we can prevent or cause something to happen.

my knowing that does not prevent them the free will of making the choice.. it's the same with god.

if god is not restricted to existence in the present, then the future is known by god because god indwells the future as well as the present and the past.

ENTIRELY POSSIBLE: THINK OF GOD IF YOU WILL AS AN ETERNAL BEING, EXISTING INTO THE ENDLESS PAST BUT ALSO ALREADY INTO THE ENDLESS FUTURE. TIME IS A DIMENSION THAT BY ITSELF DOES NOT MOVE, WE ARE MOVING. GOD DOES NOT MOVE WITH US OR AHEAD OF US. THERE ARE SOME THOUGHTS ON THAT ON BEABEOREAN.COM. THE FACT THAT HE CAN PREDICT EVENTS DOES NOT MAKE THEM HAPPEN AUTOMATICALLY, MAKING US ROBOTS. i know that judaism and christianity are strongly self professed monotheistic religions.

yet, i wonder how they can so definitively say this when the word they chose to use as the deity in the beginning of their holy scripture is a plural.

genesis 1:1, and all of genesis chapter 1, uses the word "elohim" which is the plural form of "eloah" which is the prolonged form of "el.

We're going to Disneyland! Any tips?

my family and i will be heading to california next week to go to disneyland.

we have two children under 4, so i was thinking about bringing at least one stroller.. what is the weather like in november?

would a sweatshirt be warm enough, or a light winter coat?

remember, all this stuff is faked. innocent ones will be enthralled. parents will do it for the kids. some of the stuff in the darkened tunnels of the rides is traumatic for the young fainthearted ones and insulting the intelligence of others. . If you have to borrow the money to go, dont. put it in the kids educational savings account instead. . Go to the ocean, huntington, newport, cocoa in florida. ( rocket scientists in local kh) Disney is like the OW, the Org, lot of glits, good people around but: go back to the first sentence. enjoy it for what its worth. blessings.

analog in Israel of old: the Law covenant was for ALL members of ALL tribes

the additional Davidic covenant was for only the kings

The additional priestly covenant was only with the levites.

Baptismal Authority

some questions about baptism:.

do the jehovah's witnesses accept any baptisms outside of their own authorized baptisms?as i understand it, any male member in the church can baptize.

if a father wanted to baptize his son or daughter, does that happen a lot?

good questions. Jesus baptism command gave a clear formula that has to be followed. At the time that it was given before his ascention, the disciples had still an earthly hope for the kingdom(s). There was no Congregation or church to baptise INTO. Baptism has deterioted or has been hijacked to serve as an initiation rite. it's a physicly shocking experience if you are not used to have all your skin-sensors firing at once. How can your baptism be valid , Christian if the formula is not followed? If you leave a group that immersed or springled you because that made you one of the them, you are gone and still not baptized in the name of the Father, the name of the Son and Holy Spirit, so you really were never baptized , you just got wet and many good people are still all wet so to speak. blessings

although the father is the "sovereign lord" what is the extent or reach of his sovereignty?.

since the word is not in the bible just like "trimity" or organisation or gb, is it not merely an invented concept?

Since the word is not in the bible just like "trimity" or organisation or GB, is it not merely an invented concept? Can that term not be used to justify wrong claims of power? Are wtbsinc.' s properties, assets, copyrighted doctrines etc an extension, extraterritorial entities of Jhv' sovereignty? How is JVH's sovereignty enhanced, proven by the unneccesy suffering permitted in Creation? Has He not granted free will, limiting His influence by the confines of the natural laws?

I can think of only one stated divine claim* that resembles Columbus planting the flag on the beach: Acts 1 "--not granted to you to understand TIME-- that the Father has put in His own JURISDICTION--. Even that refers to predictions.

The reality of time is a deep, unconquered concept. *the fabulous fabel of A&E and so on excluded.

The two genders sexes are equal, with the females the stronger flexible and more intelligent half. If you like to control others, both sexes do well in their own way. The carricature bit comes in when ladies act like failed men and vice versa. like we say in french: "vivre la difference". not to be overlooked here should be that the wtbs is ladies best friend, Lett et al notwithstanding. Where else can you have an audience perhaps 3 times a week, given a microphone linked to an amplification system and boom your message out to receptive, rapt listeners but at the kh? The "elder's" role reduced to deciding which sister shall speak next? and then the org gives you the privilege to generously contribute your familie's earnings, inheritance, to perpetuate this great arrangement? and you are doing better than in the apostles day! when the only sister resurrected in the flesh after our Lords departure was DORCAS, renown not for her "well thought out comments." but her needle work for the needy. Happily married people, who have sorted this out succesfully, live longest, perhaps one day really long. blessings:
