  Has anyone still in or otherwise heard anything about JWs think we only have 12 months before Armageddon?

  i’ve noticed a change in family attitude recently, like there is just something extra on their mind.

  i even had to call my brother to check if he was dying and too scared to tell me.

  anyway, i saw a video last night my saying jws think we only have 12 months left before armageddon so thought maybe this is the reason for changes attitude.

  I don`t think so as that would mean they have postponed it for 12 months ?

  Not only have they been implying if not actually saying it but havent we been living in the last of the last day ? or even the last hours of the last day ?

  Its imminent , so very soon , etc,etc.?

  i think the excellent thread on the wandering jews having to defecate outside the camp could have explored further implications, such as animal faeces, and also the fact that when women are in a group they cycle (menstruate) together.

  imagine what the place was like with their attitude towards a menstruating woman, or with the disposal of the "rags".how did they dispose of all the placentas, etc.

  ?where are the skeletons of the millions of people and animals?

  It took a lot of lies, ignorance and corruption to create the JWS religion and the results were ?

  looking back at the jws religion and all what it did to people who joined the results are not very becoming, one might even say regretfully harmful.

  here of some things of which i'm thinking about ........ first on the list has to be the thousands of people to date that refused a blood transfusion and died in doing so.. the people that have committed suicide indirectly caused by the jws df social restrictions and other reasons.. all the time wasted distributing the wts literature door to door, only to realize the doctrines the wts (gb) heads created were false and misleading.. all the marriages by young people which were enforced due to strict sexaul behavior, only to end up in divorce for incompatibility reasons.. all the families that have broken up over the decades because of the jws religoius convictions.. all the young teenagers who were persuaded to not obtain higher education because the end is so near.. all the social relationships that could have been fulfilling and good but were halted because someone wasn't a jws.. all the money people gave the wts.

  some giving their entire inheritance to the organization which ended up being full of deceit and corruption after all.. .

  Truthmatters, can you please tell me explicitly , what "Truth`s" from the Bible you are referring to ?

  I`m a little confused by your comments so far .Correct me if I am wrong.

  You seem to beleive JW`s have the "Truth" ,yet you have problems with some of their beleifs / interpretations of the Bible ? and some of their practices ? right ?

  So what "Truths" from the Bible are you talking about ? And can you be a bit more specific ? as to what they are ?

  In the words of Pauline Hanson { for ozzie posters } "Please Explain" ? TruthMatters why you are still a JW? and defending the organization ? in saying the above comments and posting on this forum ?

  And if you said any of this openly in a congregation you would be DF, correct ?

  Jehovah’s Witnesses That Acted Like Humans

  when you look back , did your witness associates act like normal human beings?

  did any of them ever show compassion and feelings for a disfellowshipped person?.

  any elders ever try to be kind to you, not “kind” as watchtower organization dictates, but truly kind and caring for you if you were experiencing difficulties?

  I remember one in the second congregation my wife and I attended going back to the 60`s. We were a young couple and going through some money troubles at the time and he offered to help get us back on our feet with a loan which I declined .He was an assistant cong.O/seer a really very nice guy.

  I have little respect for the GB, since they have CONTINUED was they goofy opinions ('Overlapping-generations'), have dumbed down the meetings, and even the newest version of the NWT!

  So what part of the Jehovah`s Witness religion is the "Truth" ?

  When exactly did they ever have the "truth?

  In Russells day ? Rutherfords day? Knorr`s day ? Nothing any of those guys taught and preached is beleived as "True" by Jehovah`s Winesses today .

  Non Believers, how do you respond ?

  i recently had this in a message from a jw, a lovely person, but mind controlled, he wrote " a life without hope is no life for me".. how should i respond to that ?

  i am an atheist, but want to respond in as kindly a way as possible.. i was thinking along the lies of saying i got no comfort from what i knew to be false hope, but need to say it in a kindly way.. ideas please ?.

  Aren`t hope and faith akin to each other ? and if either is based on a falsehood of what benefit is it ?

  I would rather have no hope and no faith than to deceive myself with a false hope and false faith .
