  How many Jehovah`s Witnesses know that ? How many ex Jehovah`s Witnesses knew that ? I didn`t.

  What does this mean ? The WT society teaches that jesus returned to begin his "invisible presence" in 1914 directing his attention toward the Earth as Ruling King

  The, the first 3 Presidents believed JC had returned in 1874, as ruling King ?

  Zions WatchTower and Herald of Christs Presence. ( not coming )

  God knew that what they were teaching was not true and therefore they would fail his son`s examination on such an important matter.

  Why didn`t Jehovah God correct their thinking by 1919 ? when they were supposed to have been accepted as the Faithful & discreet slave ? When obviously they were not ? Because they were teaching a false date of his return (Second Coming)

  do any jehovah`s witnesses or ex jehovah`s witnesses even know what that sin is ?.

  why is such a statement in the bible if its not identified what that sin is ?.

  were the authors of the book just playing with peoples heads ?

  Robbing your child of a normal upbringing

  i am a 75 year old, who was baptized in 1968. had the full-on jw experience.

  elder since 1974. reg pioneered 20 years.

  Welcome RiverPeace ,I was a convert at age 20 converted my GF who became my wife and we stayed in the religion for 37 years wherin I brought up two boys in the religion ,among other family members .

  But the good part is everybody is out except one niece.

  Do I have guilt? My bloody oath I do ,but what is done is done and can`t be retracted.Both are now into their second marriage`s and are coping with a successful lifestyle now,and are happy ,one with two young children and one with a grown up son.

  I find that with a lot of people who leave the religion and keep having problems emotionally is simply because ,they have left the religion but the religion has never left them.

  What they need to do is let the religion go once for all time ,and the only way to do that is prove to yourself that you have been duped into believing a man made up religion ,an American made up religion that has used scriptures taken out of context ,quotations of authorities also taken out of context and came up with their own religion that they claim is the truth.And only they have the truth .

  If you have not read Don Camerons "Captives Of A Concept " I strongly advise you to read it ,and then get your son to read it and both of you absorb the message it contains .

  I downloaded it from lulu I think many years ago for less than $ 10 I think.

  It uses WT publications to debunk many of the claims they make asserting they were chosen by God.

  It helps to break the physiological bonds we formed with the religion when we were programmed.

  And of course this site particularly for me anyway.

  Do old time present day active JW`s genuinely believe in overlapping generations ?

  for the life of me i can not come to terms with old timers in the "truth" who could swallow this interpretation of scripture about an overlapping generation .. when jesus spoke about "this generation" .

  are their any real bible students among younger ones any more ?.

  here are 3 bible scriptures that confirm a generation is approximately 40- 50 years long give or take a few years .. 1. matt:1 :17 abraham born 2016-18 bc jesus born 2 bc approx.

  New Light on Sheep and Goats?

  lloyd evans has just tweeted a video he will be releasing soon on the "change" to the meaning of the sheep and goats and when that is to occur.. i've missed any discussion on that on here or anywhere?

  it seems it was part of the 2020 annual meeting the gb had?.

  any info on this?.

  The JW is always looking out for new light ,hoping for the big A now.

  The average JW now is there because of feelings ,the majority have no idea of doctrines, and how could they with the changes that are constantly occurring .

  All they understand is ..A wicked world we live in , Armageddon will destroy it ..Paradise earth... is awaiting faithfull JW`s , and that`s about it .

  And some lucky JW`s will rule with Jesus for a thousand years .

  All based on feelings not facts/evidence .

  No more going to fricken meetings 5 times a week ,with a tie and suit, taking two poor kids along and a wife with me ,forgive me family ,I know not what I do !.

  Tolerating people who I would not normally associate with ,nor probably them with me .

  I hated witnessing from D2D but I must have done enough to become a MS ?

  Actively supporting and encouraging others to join what I now know is/was a Publishing - Real Estate Enterprise using Religion as a front to promote these enterprises .

  Whether it started out this way or not I do not know but that is was what it became

  "Worldly" publishing agencies recognised the WT were sitting on a gold mine with now 8 million people freely giving their time to promote WT publications ,and getting nothing in return.

  And not having to listen once more about their excuses for failed predictions made by the society using "the light gets brighter as the day draws near " changing completely what they had said /predicted before .

  1914 ,1925,1939-45,1975.....,6,000 years of human existence ,twice mind you they also did that much earlier,and made a correction to that date.

  A man could go on and on but I`m now tired ,as if what i`ve said is not enough to put people off the JW religion.
