  if you don’t support certain ideas or beliefs, you may find yourself on the losing end in business, money matters, and community.

  curt schilling, a former red sox player who is conservative today reported how his insurance company suddenly dropped him even though he was an excellent consumer with them because of his “ views”.

  he was marked by those in charge and evidently was told by the rep he knew that they didn’t like his political views.

  Welcome to this forum ,to answer your question this is an ex-JW site and I was a JW for 32 years until I woke up to the BS.

  Study and research of what the JW`s have taught, and back tracked / flipfloped their doctrines and practices ,you just start asking these questions .

  The JW`s are indoctrinated into not asking questions ,the Governing Body / leaders of JW`s have done all the research a JW needs to know.

  Criticisms are all Satan inspired and products of Apostates who have left the religion , so they claim.

  So the good / faithful JW close their mind and ears to anything other than what is taught by the F&DS class the Governing Body.

  Stick around friend this is a great forum with many informed people about Jehovah`s Witnesses.

  1.When did the modern day JW religion begin? We all know the stock answer to that Q that they will give ,but persevere .

  For the past 2000 years there has never been an organization known as JW. right ?

  They will probably quote Isaiah 43 but all you have to say is that was given to the nation of Israel and they never adopted the name Jehovah`s Witnesses ,and when Jesus was on earth he never condemned them for not doing it.

  2.They claim that they were chosen in 1919 by Jesus at his inspection when he returned invisibly in 1914 .

  No Jehovah`s Witnesses were not chosen by Jesus in 1919 ,by there own literature it was the "International Bible Students Association" ,IBSA .that were chosen,not JW`s. they may claim its ` the same thing ,but that`s not so . Why ?

  3.The beliefs and practices of the IBSA were/are rejected by the JW`s of today ,so if what they beleived and preached back then they would be rejected by GOD today .

  Another thing to remember is that the IBSA was by JW`s own words approved by GOD , and not Jehovah`s Witnesses .just because some members broke away from the IBSA and started a new religion doesn`t mean Jehovah God kept supporting it.

  Isn`t there a warning in the New Testament about starting a new doctrine one contrary to what the Apostles preached ?

  Followers of Jesus Christ were never instructed to preach a Jehovah`s Kingdom doctrine that is the heading of their official magazine the Watchtower.

  The new Testament is all about the kingdom of Christ Jesus, that his followers were to advertise and make known.

  I think that the adoration he received from the media and richmond footy fans he misses being in the limelight.

  I wouldn`t be at all surprised if he makes a comeback into the AFL.

  Just my 2 cents worth from a Carlton fan.

  Letter from local Kingdom Hall

  today l received a hand written letter from my local kingdom hall .

  l say my local as the one nearest me , for those who don't know me l am not nor have ever been a jw .

  as this letter was addressed " to the householder " l assume that everyone in the area ( tamworth , staffordshire ) has been sent one .

  So if we take that literally ,Jesus is saying that some time in the future heaven and earth are to pass away ?

  So much for a paradise earth for him to rule over .And he is not competent enough to rule by himself ? he needs 144,000 ex humans to rule with him ?

  America is not the center of all that transpires in the world , there are other nations that influence what goes on this planet .

  To name a few ,India , Pakistan , China, Iran , North Korea , Japan ,and there are others,

  You could say what you have claimed many times in the last couple of hundred years

  You have to admit if there were to be a 2nd coming of the Christ, now would be the time!

  But as before and of now there is no such coming of a Christ now or ever. He, Jesus Christ never thought his sayings would gain world Attention ? He himself never wrote anything down ,he didn`t expect whatever he said to be taken up by other people and be applied to generations to come ,?

  It is other people who put Jesus Christ on a pedestal and made him what he is today in Christendom.

  Their is nothing Jesus Christ said while alive that he alluded to or said anything about future generations .

  People that came after him made Jesus Christ what he is today .

  i don't know why but sometimes like to check up my old/self righteous friend, gary kennedy from bethel on face book....he is a pioneer in ecuador.

  yes and just like most pioneers he likes to brag on his selfless life style.

  he is serving the lord my sitting at home and writing out thousands of letters long hand all day long to count his time.

  The letter I got was typed and no doubt photo-copied with a first name and signature all copied .

  And at the end of the letter a QR code with flowers on diagonal corners and "What is God`s Kingdom"

  Christendom has only been preaching this for the past 2000 years ? and these johnny come latelys who have poached their members off Christendom try to sell us something different ?

  I don`t think so .

  I said as much in my reply.

  Funny thing is I never heard back from her , JW`s give up so easily.
