  So what`s the bloody point of giving the American citizens the right / privilege to vote if the Electoral college can overide the majority opinion of voters ?

  "A democracy is a vote by the people for the people"

  If the majority of American citizens took the time,energy, and effort to vote for candidate "A" and the rest of American citizens for one reason or another refuse to vote ,then the Electoral college chooses candidate "B" that`s a travesty of justice and un democratic , a farce , a gerrymander.

  But on further investigation ,I find that both the Republican party and the Democrat party are both happy to leave that situation as it is , and as far as I can tell so do the majority of the American people,all I can say then is ,

  a recent wt study was titled: “the resurrection reveals god’s love, wisdom and patience.

  apparently there was a lot of speculation on how those resurrected will be needing to be taught god’s ways in last weeks wt study.

  does anyone know how the watchtower tries to weasel out of the "resurrection of damnation"?.

  Most of us who hear the word Messiah certainly don't connect any smearing of oil to its meaning. Yet, that's at the root of Messiah.

  Terry ,I wonder if it all depended on who was true and who was fake because of the oil they used ?

  Has anything more frequent been published by the Watchtower publications of Jehovah`s Witnesses that diminishes the rank and file as being a Jehovah`s Witness ? and a member of the Jehovah`s Witness religion ?

  Or are the rank and file now denigrated to be only friends / volunteers of the Governing Body who are the only true Jehovah`s Witnesses recognised by God .?

  It has been stated officially that the rank and file are not members of the Jehovah`s Witness religion .

  So where does that leave them ? Who are they ? What are they to be called ?

  If true ,do the rank and file even know about this ? How would they react ?

  when you think about it the jws was foundationaly created upon a single core doctrine which was created close to a 100 years ago, that is the doctrinal year of 1914 .. the leader(s) of the ibsa in 1919 proclaimed that jehovah had selectively chosen them or him as it were by j. rutherford, they also self identified themselves as the anointed class the faithful slave.. from all of these expressive endeavors a new religion sprung up eventually calling themselves the jehovah's witnesses.

  years and decades followed where more and more people were lured into the faith making themselves subservient devoted members as well, some also identifying themselves as the anointed class.

  the jws proclaimed through their leaders (gb) that they were true loyal witnesses to jehovah's will and purpose, but were they really ?

  Thank you Doug for those links however it`s going to take a bit more time to absorb all of the things stated in early WT publications much of which I`m already aware of but putting them in such a format helps to appreciate how WT controls and manipulates their volunteers who call themselves Jehovah`s witnesses ?

  Which raises the question in my mind ?

  Do the Governing Body of Jehovah`s Witnesses recognise the rank and file of JW`s as Jehovah`s Witnesses ? or do they just class them as helpers ? volunteers ? friends of the GB ? who they claim are the F&DS class ? the ONLY Jehovah`s Witnesses ? that are on earth ?

  I would appreciate your comment on these questions.
