I thought this post would have got a lot of folk involved Either they haven`t seen the program or the topic just does not interest them ?

I remember many years ago a young teenage girl was very upset about what someone was saying about her on social media and it was pointed out to her to just stop looking at it ,but she couldn`t do it she had to see how everybody else was responding.?

Anybody else ?

Has anybody watched this program ? Are you concerned by the content ? Does it disturb you ?

I myself am a little bit confused by it all ! Not being that addicted to social media but then I`m mostly on this site for a couple of hours a day .

But I know of kids that are never off of their phones ,internet ,tablets whatever ,what`s happening to them.

What is your opinion of this Doco

Can the principle behind it also be applied to how Watchtower operates ?

Very thought provoking I feel.

Fink ,I remember a publication called "The plain Truth" that was given out free at a newsagents around the 70`s and that spoke about Armageddon and was well illustrated .Actually it was a far superior in quality compared to the WT & Awake mags.

The Adventists also believed in Armageddon in their publications and "World Tomorrow" also preached about the big "A" though I don`t think they put a date to it.

Just saying.

I`m sorry to hear stan that your wife still shuns her son ,just shows the power of indoctrination , so tragic and evil.

I am aware of the WT twice using the 6000 years of human existence the last being 1975 ,I thought the earlier one was the late 1800`s .

I converted in 1960 so I lived through the 1975 debacle ,and while I knew they fudged blaming the R&F for their mistake I still didn`t leave till the early 90`s.

Silly me.

Annual Meeting?

the watchtower annual meeting is traditionally held the 1st saturday in october which is today, usually there are topics and speculations leading up to this but i've not seen anything on here or reddit this year.

has it been cancelled this year, anyone know?
