I love that statement when confronted with the crimes committed by JW`s " well if they committed those crimes they were not really Jehovah`s Witnesses "
By that same logic there are no Catholics behind bars in gaols because if they were really catholics they wouldn`t commit those crimes .
my mother became a witness right after i was born.
1951. i was indoctrinated from that time forward for 50 yrs.
during that time i did not hear anything about the 2 witness rule as applied to child molestation.
I was a JW for 32 years since 1960 and I have always understood the 2 witness rule applied to any and all wrongdoing
And in WT speak child molestation as far as I can remember was never viewed as a crime but as a sin.
And as far as the world was concerned no sins (crimes) were ever committed in Gods true organization.

Their was supposed to be a meeting with the powers that be today the 8th of July about what further measures and actions are to be taken against the institutions that have not signed up to the redress scheme .
And to date 6:30 pm I have not heard anything relating to this meeting taking place or what outcome if any has been achievied ,will update when something surfaces.

At the time I made sure it went into the trash and not the recyclable bin as I didn`t want any to fall into unsuspecting hands who might be sucked in by it.
In hindsight I wish I had kept some to be used here in debunking them.

Very true Anders Anderson ,just as R&F JW`s are not employees of JW.Org or Watchtower but are only volunteers supporting the organization as interested persons and have no official contract with the organization whatsoever.
The WTB&TS do not want to be tied to anything that a volunteer JW says or does that could come back and bite them in the ass , especially with a lawsuit.
I doubt that very many JW`s would understand the vulnerability they are under volunteering for the WTB&TS and how much they would be left out on a limb if it came to a crunch.
You have to wonder when they start a post with one or two sentences and nothing else don`t you ?

i thought it was very lively and interesting.
Many years ago after 1993 I think when I left the religion then when I got a PC i started looking at sites about JW`s and one of the first was Shaun`s site and then Randy Waters another was a Brisbane woman name of Jan and more that 14 years ago I found this site and liked it so much I`m still here.
I think one of the first questions I had was about JW`s being an NGO with the United Nations Organizations I couldn`t believe that was true at first and had to get verification of it.
a young 81 ,may there be many more.. but feeling about 91 at the present time ..
