  Was / Is God biased ? prejudiced against certain Peoples / Tribes or Nations ?

  let me explain :.

  after the creation account of the bible, tribes of people and nations began to form and spread around the land.. god first chose noah and his family to protect them as he destroys all others in the flood.. and he ticks off everyone in babel ?

  and then he favours abraham and his descendants as the nation of israel culminating in the jewish lineage to jesus the son of god.. he has never had any dealings with any other people`s or nation isn`t that some form of favouritism ?

  My point is GOD only dealt with one tribe of people and chose them as his nation / people whereas other tribes and nations never got this same favouritism .

  In fact GOD actually supported Israel in wars against other nations .

  GOD never gave all of mankind the same treatment he gave Israel he judged them without giving them the same opportunities he gave to Israel.

  It was never a level playing field as the saying goes.

  You said it : Having feelings of empathy and compassion you may go out of your way to try to help someone with bad traits hoping that they will respond to love.

  He didnt do that with these other tribes of people or nations.

  hi folks.. just another case to prove that the tower organisation has creeps that other organisations do.. they are not special or chosen by god.

  “Hanging the earth upon nothing”

  for those of you not up to speed on the latest jw trends, one of the key scriptures the jws are using in field serve-us lately is job 26:7, wherein the writer describes the earth as “hanging upon nothing”.. this text is used to indicate the bible’s “reliability”.

  the reasoning goes something like this:.

  “see, centuries ago, people thought the world was flat, or was resting on elephants or turtles, or some such nonsense.

  episode 203 of netflix ... i am a killer looks at the murder of christopher chavez in texas.

  christopher chavez was a 22 year old ministerial servant and a born-in son of an jw elder.

  after a thursday night meeting and a quick bite to eat afterwards with friends at a local restaurant, he was kidnapped, taken to a gas station and forced to drive his killers around for hours while they were in the back seat.

  when any JW tells me that I should never defend myself, and instead rely on God to deliver me from any potential violent attack.

  You could also say that when Israel were fighting wars backed by GOD against their enemies front-line soldiers were still going to die and not saved by GOD.

  Looking at page two the last 7 questions could be answered in the affirmative whether you have actually done so or not .

  I suppose they were just relying on a persons honesty in answering those Q`s and not thinking about a person who is just wanting to gain recognition and prominence in the congregation.

  Thanks Atlantis I`m still learning something everyday about the cult even though I was in for 32 years.

  Memory and memorization

  my son and daughter can do so.age 75 has cheated me a bit in this regard.what sort of things have you memorized (whether useful or useless)?i can recite the entire rime of the ancient mariner to this day, btw.there are many so-called tricks for remembering things that can be easily learned and i've read all or most of those books.the amusing thing about such memory is this: nobody cares!

  "why do you need to memorize when you can just use your iphone?sigh...i memorized the periodic table of elements one day at work.

  The only 2 things I was taught to memorize when I was in primary school was the alphabet and the times table both of which were / are still very useful to me.

  Who is GOD Favouring in this Time of the End ?

  jehovah`s witnesses , seventh day adventists , church of jesus christ of the latter day saints.. these 3 are probably the more influenthal in the last 200 or so years ago.. if membership is a sign of god`s blessing on who he favours then @ the year 2021.. jehovah`s witnesses membership 8.5 million.

  church of jesus christ of latter day saint`s membership.16.8 million.

  seventh day adventist`s membership.21 million.

  A list of a couple of years back :

  Catholicism , 1.345 Billion members

  Protestant`s , 900 million to 1 Billion

  Anglicans , 110 million

  Jehovah`s Witnesses are way down on the list even the Mormons and the 7th Day Adventists far out number the 8.5 million Jehovah`s Witnesses.

  Especially the Catholics are most favoured because they have been around for centuries so GOD must be favouring them .
