by theologically i mean not reading the bible with the intention of understanding the nature of god and religious truth.
but instead, reading the bible by analyzing only the facts of what is written, in an unbiased frame of mind to pull out what is actually happening in the written stories.. first of all, if you were to read the nt in chronological order, paul’s 7 authentic letters would come before the gospels of matthew, mark, luke, and john.

OK Kosonen, my take on your analysis of world events and the Bible. True china is emerging as a wannabe super power in world affairs, widening and strengthening their influence and military capabilities in the region and beyond.
That, that happens with Nations is nothing new as history confirms .Over periods of time Nations rise and Nations fall .Nothing new under the sun here..
Your big mistake here is trying to harmonize what happens in modern history to whatever the Bible has to say..
The Bible is nothing more than what the Roman Church brought together, a lot of scriptures ,of Jewish and first Century Christians and came up with their view of what should be the Bible canon, and form their Religious organization on.
Leaving out many other Scriptures that didn`t fit in with their agenda.
And Protestant religions have virtually all fallen in line with what they decreed including the Jehovah`s Witnesses.
resulting in forming over 40,000 different Christian sects throughout the world today.

I believe Winston read too much into it as well .Same here , he has probably confused his beliefs and mixed them up as a hish hash of JW beleifs .
Because let`s face it it is hard to keep up with the flip flops of JW`s beliefs and their New light .
The only thing that the current JW knows about his / her religion is that Armageddon is coming and a new World of paradise is coming soon ,so don`t bog me down with details ,its all in Jehovah`s hand.
End of story.

in australia had a program on sects and were discussing the jw.
this was tuesday 14-12-21.. did anyone see this.

jackson presented some arguments, one of which was….jesus did not stop the widow from putting money in the contribution box in the temple.
basically saying regardless of your financial situation you have to donate.

It makes sense : If people can believe that a GOD has no beginning and no end ?
The same could be said said about the Universe ? Why not ?
Why is there something rather than nothing ? Why not ?
The universe might be eternal there may be no beginning .
And now for my own two cents worth :
How do we know whether or not the Universe itself is a living thing
So the reality is ,there is no Armageddon,Great Tribulation its all in a book of fiction written two thousand years ago.
Probably one of the first SCI-Fi / Fantasy series of books ever produced.
