They made an announcement a while back telling brothers NOT to send letters to the branch expecting them to send them forward to brothers in prison, because there is “no provision for this”.

But there are no brothers or sisters in prison ,because if they were true Jehovah`s witnesses ,they would not be in prison , that`s why there are no Catholics in prison today.

they never get disgruntled and leave, they never abuse children, they never sleep around or steal.

because if they were a true jehovah's witness they wouldn't do that, and if they do something wasn't right with them to begin with.

anybody else heard this "logic"?

That`s why there are no Catholics in prisons because if they were true Catholics they wouldn`t be in prison,right ?

i am an atheist and i disapprove of the death penalty.

i remember michael dukakis, when he was a usa presidential candidate, saying i he was opposed to the death penalty - even for rapists and murderers.

Serial killers ,rapists who murder their victims ,paedophiles who kill kids ,etc,etc.

i`m in favour of the death penalty for these people who commit these crimes.

However I do see a need for alternative solutions for jailing non violent ,petty crimes committed by one timers ,whereby habitual criminals still need to serve time in jail.

1. when individuals leave the organization for conscience reasons, it is evidence that god is shepherding and protecting the flock by doing a sifting work.

when people leave another christian religion it is evidence that the religion is morally corrupt and unable or unwilling to provide spiritually for their members.. 2. when a christian from another denomination lies, he is acting according to his own disposition being from the father of the lie.

when a jehovah's witness lies, he is proving his loyalty to jehovah and fulfilling his sacred obligation to engage in spiritual warfare.. 3. during times of rapid growth the organization claims this is evidence of gods approval as he "speeds it up in his own time".

There is no reason for the media to mention their religion .It is not normal practice for the media to mention the religion of anyone who commits a crime isn`t that so ?

The fact that a long time member of this board verifys they are JW`s is good enough for me.

Go Bag and Catastrophes

i live with my parents in law and yesterday, my mother in-law was very nervous about an email she got from the brothers in her congregation.

it was asking if she would be able to receive people over at our house should there be a catastrophe.

so, she asked me if i would agree with this.

the article is full of "jehovahs" but not once did jesus himself actually use the term.

In the book "Aid To Bible Understanding " WT/JW acknowledge that Jehovah is not the correct pronunciation of the divine name ,however they settled on using it because it was the most commonly accepted use and the most popular pronunciation of the day .

Or words to that effect.

And is the name / pronunciation of that name the "Gospel Message" that was to be preached in all the inhabited earth ?

i been seeing several experiences by jws who are waking up very quickly.

not years, not months, not even days-----but minutes.

it seems that all the hypocrisy of the watchtower is becoming more obvious to the members.

I consider myself an atheist and have no problem with the death penalty when it is proven beyond any reasonable doubt about the guilt of the person charged with the crime.

Especially so, when they have killed more than one person.
