A serious question for Americans : Why do the smaller states have more voting power than some of the bigger states ? { I do hope I have phrased my question right ?}

Why it's good to discuss politics (but if you don't want to, you don't have to)
by LoveUniHateExams ini was reading through this site the other day and came across several posts by different posters lamenting this site, saying what a shame it has gone from debating jw believers to talking politics and current affairs.. there are a few issues i have with these kind of posts.. first, discussing politics is actually a good thing.
well, in case you haven't noticed, we in the west are going through a culture war.
certain groups of far-leftists are trying - and sometimes succeeding - to shut down free discussion.

Why Jehovah`s Witnesses are wrong emphasising the name Jehovah.
by smiddy3 inhi friends, feel free to correct me where i`m wrong with this post.after all it`s just my observation of jw`s and the bible.. in the beginning of gods dealings with adam it was on a personal level , god to man so to speak.. god then dealt with humans via the patriarchs , then with the levi priesthood ,then judges ,( and a woman was a judge ) then kings ,somewhere in between all of this prophets played a major part ,and then came jesus christ the messiah.. and to my knowledge god has not validated a successor to him with any evidence i`ve seen .. jehovah`s witnesses claim to be christians but have with no new testament backing usurped jesus with jehovah.. this period of time ,until god says otherwise ,christians are to give honour and glory to none other than jesus christ .. that is the name that is above any other name until god says otherwise.
phil.2:9-11. not the name jehovah .the bible never says anything about a kingdom of jehovah ,the coming kingdom is the kingdom of jesus christ with his associate 144,000 earthly subjects.. this is just my understanding of what the bible actually says .. whether i believe it or not is another matter..

And there are plenty of other religions that do use the name Jehovah religions that used the Douay version of the Bible being the Catholic `s ,the king James version of the Bible that many Protestant religions use the name , and even the Mormons have used the name Jehovah I believe .
And the name Jehovah is printed in stone on many churches throughout Europe that are centuries old.
The U.S.A. army during world war two used the code name JEHOVAH in one of it`s campaigns .
Also the United states Marines chanted the the song that had the words "who is like Jehovah " in recent years.
"Days of Elijah" I think it is called .their is a video of them singing it,a very catchy tune.

Followers of the religion Charles Taze Russell started were followers of and were witnesses of Jesus and were looking forward to the establishment of Christ Jesus 1000 year reign.
They had no thought of a Jehovah`s Kingdom.

Thank you for those references ,I can only conclude that the Bible speaks out of both sides of its mouth if you know what I mean ,the Bible can be interpreted many ways depending on what you want to believe ..
Probably that`s why there are over 40 thousand different sects of Christianity who all claim to accept the one Bible.?

C.T Russell and the magazine he started was called "Zions Watchtower and Herald Of Christs Presence ",
he was witnessing about Jesus Christ and his Kingdom , not Jehovah and so were his followers back then .
And they would have still been doing so when in 1918-19 they were supposedly approved by Jesus Christ as the Faithful and discreet Slave Class.

The Power Of Unconditional Love
by 1234 inthe most powerful love in the universe is unconditional love.. a love that has no requirements or conditions.
no actions are necessary to receive it.. this love is all around us and can be easily seen.
watch any mother with its new born baby.

by emmayataco ini'm a uc berkeley student researching the effects of disaffiliation from the jehovah's witnesses.
i'm not ex-jw but i am ex-mormon and as your cousin i can sympathize with the struggles we face when we question/leave the religion.. i currently have a survey open which closes on sunday the 20th at 11pm.. if you meet the criteria i encourage you to take the 20-30 minute survey.
-be at least 18 years old-born/raised jw (born in or family converted when you were minor)-"left" at least 6 months ago (left=inactive and questioning/non-believing).
