How did you feel the 1st time you visited this or other "apostate" site?
by Newborn ini thought jehobar would struck me dead with a lightning right on the spot.
seriously, i was so scared.

I didn't care about the apostate part. Social Anxiety is the main demon stalking me, so hitting "submit post" and opening myself to the www scared the bejeezus outta me. Still does. Nearly every time. =) Other than that, it felt great finding this place. It's been the source of a lot of laughter and enlightenment for me.

If the insurance company finds out you regularly use your vehicle to carry volunteers "in service" and your policy doesn't cover you for that, they might try not to pay out on that basis.

2009 - Something to look forward to or something to dread?
by eyeslice incontinued economic uncertainty and the failure of financial institutionsauto industry in melt downunemployment set to rise to record levelsongoing destruction of the environmentfood shortages due to disproportionate distribution of wealthpreventable diseases rife due to disproportionate distribution of wealththe middle east a messterrorism an increasing threat but on the upside the big a must be even closer!.

have we got much to look forward to in 2009?

Probably a bit of both. Just like every other year before it. I mean, if I learned anything round about the age of eight days old, it was that Shit Happens. Daily. I don't usually "look forward to" or "dread" it anymore. It just is. I accept it and I deal with it. Sometimes I help others with theirs. Sometimes I even learn from it. (Who'da thunk? The shit that comes OUT can indicate certain necessary changes as to what is going IN.) Sometimes I look down and find myself ankle deep in it. LOL. But hey, that's usually only on "special" occasions. Then other people come in and we get busy, if we're open for that. I prefer to avoid getting tunnel vision over Potentials when there's so much more to a vivid life than just sitting there staring at the Potential shit end of one Potential stick (or the other end for that matter). Accept both ends and where they meet in the middle, as is, (part of a much greater whole in a world full of Potential sticks that could Potentially beat you to death or save your life in ways you never even fathomed), do what's most obvious to you, see what comes of that, and move on. Keep on breathing, fuel up, rest. >>>---> As for what 2009 will hold? Hell, I don't even know what next week will hold. I honestly don't. And I'm increasingly okay with not knowing. I'm okay with leaving Caesar's things to Caesar and Gawd's things to Gawd and just making the best choices I can one at a time, here and now within my own little sphere of influence. Too much Possibility can stagger the human mind. Stagger as in staggering drunk handle with care. Probability is only slightly more people-friendly. As for me and my household? I'm just going to take it moment by moment and stick with whatever I can reasonably muster up, alongside everyone else on the planet, and Particularly those within arms reach. Life is generally a bit more manageable/fulfilling that way. I do what I can to stay open to change, 'cause life's dynamic like that. Learning is cool too and skillz help. Get s'more; for yourself and for your friends. BOTTOM LINE: It ain't over 'til it's over. As long as it's still happening, I'm going to keep happening. A wise guy once said, Ya Can't Beat Happy. True enough, so I'm passing it on. Happy 2009 Everyone. That's all I've got to give here and now. Let the reader use their own discernment. :O) I double dawg dare ya to spend it in one place or more. I am. =)

tuesday without a meeting is just weird.. .

It took them this long to realize something that I knew should have happened long long ago. It pisses me off that so many people had to suffer their ridiculously stubborn, wash-up-to-the-elbow-as-we-drive-you-to-your-grave demands in the interim. As moronic leaders go, they're remarkable.
