  It's hard to believe that Sweeney, considering some of the awful You tubes there are on..I am sure they have a lot of objections..and yet they are still on. I think it had to be more of a legal issue..

  our jw contact sent us the " witness only " wt's again and i just had to make a thread on this mind numbing article.

  starting on pg.22 in the jan.15th it deals with " coping with discouragement ".

  it seems lots of jw's are under intense stress these days ( can you blame them ?

  don't get all excited...i don't mean lastnight.

  spankings were a regular occurence in my family, and don't think that was uncommon for born-in jws.

  my parents loved the line "we spank you because we love you.

  Did the spankings work?

  My brother claims we were spanked all the time..that isn't in my memory..he had a lot of medical problems and I can't see him getting a spanking..they babied him.

  I wonder if he is associating being in the hospital and the pain from it with parents hurting him. (They took him to the hospital)

  He also swears there was a spider the size of the bedroom door crawling on the door..

  Sometimes I wonder if people really got beat often like they remember or if it just stands out and seems like it because it was tramatic to them..

  Not saying this is the case with all that said they were beat all the time but wondring if it is possible to transfer pain to another incident?

  Of course I believe in marriage..married 45 yrears here when hubby passed away.

  Also believe in divorce if one of the partners decides it doesn't work anymore..but only after a heartfelt try at fixing things..

  Snoozy..of course I would do it again..several times..lol

  Laws here are different than they are in the US. I was a "qualified" therapist and was recognized as such in the community. Th emedia often used me as a source person for abuse issue. I had psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers refer patients to me. I spoke frequently in the community, at the colleges and both Concordia and McGill University about abuse issues. For a long time I was the "go-to" person in Montreal

The normal requirements are (a) possessing the required graduate degree, (b) having received supervised experience, and (c) passing written and oral exams on practice and ethical issues. It is a student’s responsibility to learn about the licensing, certification, or chartering requirements of the jurisdictions in which they wish to practice and the quality of the graduate programs in which they are considering training.

  When there are to many medications in the house.....

  due to health issuse my wife, myself and daughter take medications.

  my wife kathy takes about 12, the daughter 6 or 7. i have 15 meds to take in a days time.

  all of them are kept seperate in a lock box to which kathy has the key.

  My wife broke her arm and I have been getting her meds for her- I hate getting her weekly meds divided up, pills cut in half and put into the pill carrier- she takes 7 different meds- so far no mistakes.

  All those pills for a broken arm?..

  All those pain pills you have to be one very happy/mellow family..

  Are you a licensed Therapist?

  I noticed it says you are a Therapist.

  Also, the other two are just talking about their views of the witnesses but you are discussing their policies as facts..maybe the witnesses claim they are not true?
