  Is Child Abuse An Issue That You Personally Have Seen In The Organization?

  as an elder, i saw one child abuse situation involving a man who wanted to be an elder and had i believe 8 children.

  he was not in our congregation when this all erupted.

  he denied it and moved to another hall and unbelievably, that body of elders wanted to appoint him since they believed his entire family was lying about him.

  I did. And the father of the young girl molested by the ministeral servant(being protected by the elders) came back one memorial and attacked him. In the hall. and told everyone what happened.

  KH Hall doors to remain locked during meetings?

  my mother in law told us this morning that they read a letter in her cong last night.

  from now on kh doors will be locked after 15 min of meeting start.

  only the fire exit (one way door) will remain unlocked.

  What JW habits do you still have?

  since leaving the jw's after over 4 decades, i can see exactly what it is and hate everything it stands for.

  however, there are still some jw habits and traits that i can't get rid of:.

  1. i can't swear in general conversation (i'd have to be really angry).

  i have been on the phone the last to two weeks calling people i've known over the last forty years most of who are still jehovah's witnesses.

  some of these people who didn't know i was "out" talked to me and some who knew i was "out" still talked to me.

  some of the those people are even elders.. by book new boy will be dedicated to all the people who have killed themselves because of being a jehovah's witness or knowing others who were jehovah's witnesses.

  I still have a fear of the paranormal. I wouldnt dream of even looking at a ouija board.

  The rest is long gone. The difference here is i was a born in gone before i was 18 and thrown in the deep end of "the world" i imagine 40 years in is alot harder to adjust.

  Dont worry about black pudding it tastes like arse.

  i tell them to keep their noses clean and become coasties if they must trod that path.

  Thats a good comment by stillin, the JWS are very anti anything masculine.

  The very reason i was disfellowshiped defends that statement!
