Sometimes I feel like I Should Believe something...

has anyone else felt like they should believe something after leaving wt?

i am an agnostic atheist and its so so hard for me to believe in a god or higher power.

it just doesn't make sense.

"Believing something " ....would make life a little "easier" isn't ?

Like a kind of drug maybe ....no . not maybe . it is a drug .

A self-made , free and legal drug .... Why not use it ?

And it definitely make life kind of "easier " .

No more worries about death !!!( and fews other questions... )

If you feel to , find something to believe .

and you have many choices around the world!!

Me i dont "believe" .

I am going to die .

tomorrow or in twenty years .and i dont care very much about the " tunnel of light " . ( i just prefer in 20 years than tomorrow...but who knows ? )

My only big wories is to wake up "after death" in a Jw "paradise"

Going out of my grave and see Tony the third with a panda on his knees asking me if "i want to be a Jw man" ..........i would strait go back to my grave ...

and lock it !!

( we all have crazy nightmares ....)

How long can this cult remain with only kids becoming members?

it's become clear that very few from outside the religion are joining anymore.

if only the kids of the people that are already in are the one replacing the members as they die off and 50% let's say of the kids leave then how long can they realistically last before the downturn becomes obvious?.

Not long i think .

Because nowadays kids are smarter ( in the way " more difficult to fool " ) and faster to get when something "smell wrong" ...

And if you put a "tablet" in young hands its very easy to go from jw.org to jwfacts.com........ no ?

I wish i had one 25 years ago ...and all the links we have now..... ; )

JW Witnessing Trolleys. To approach or ignore what is your preference and why?

i saw two brothers this morning next to the main train station in liverpool city centre this morning.

they were not actively approaching anyone.

what i found strange was that they were from a cong that has different territory, so i don't know why they were there.. anyway i knew them both, and they know i was df'd, i was in my car and couldn't park up for a chat, but i did beep and wave to them as i drove passed and they waved back.

They are in a strange jail . the key for the exit door is inside their pocket !!

Some turn it at 20 yo , some turn it at 65 yo and some ...never find they have a pocket and a key inside...

And this jail have a very special door too ....the lock is ONLY INSIDE ...you CANT open it from outside ..... ( i tried very hard . i broke my "apostates fingers" )

Ps : Btw .. they have internet in this jw.jail ...no ? yes ! ( i can hear many keys turning now , and even more in a close future ....GOOD ! )

I'm getting baptized

i know i've started similar topics before but this time i'm serious.

my parents have been constantly pressuring me and after yesterday's watchtower study they asked me if i was going to be baptized this summer... and i said yes.

i probably should have thought about it more before making a final decision, but they're pretty much forcing me to do it anyway.

DONT go to the swimming pool . ( like i did last century...)

The end was "sooooo clooose" you know ..... ; )

If THEY put a lot of pressure just say " its an important choice, and i need more time and reflexion " ( and its true )

Too young to drive , too young to get married ....so ....too young, thats all !! ; )

Stay "quiet" , work hard at school , and just say NO to the swimming pool .

Easy to say , hard to do isn't ; ) !!!

Never forget this powerfull word in life : " NO "

Are speeding tickets issused in your area???

i haven't seen anyone stopped for speeding on our freeways in some time.. wth it's dangerous out there, i'm driving 69-72 mph and someone pass me at 80-85 mph.. here in southern ca it,s crazy.

the speed limits are 65-70 mph.

i'am nervous as hell when i'am on the.

apart from the usual hilarious jw tv stuff, i haven't heard of anything.. any info any one?

Model Jw family?

does serving as an elder make one a bad family man.

In real life its just NOT ok .

I am not my father, but i know him quite well . the WORST part of his life ( by far )was when he was "elder" ( five years something ..?) . familly life was too at the time.

Allways on time at KH , allways door to door , always answering to meeting , with a lot of yellow pen on the STUDIES ....( Look , rows behind ....i PREPARED it !! )

And heads moving when a Boss is passing bye .yeah yeah ...this is soooo deeep ...so powerfullll.....the end is sooooo cloose ....

Any here who didn't rebel as a teenager and were a goody two shoes instead?

when i was a teenager in the borg i was a dyed in the wool, goody two shoes, squeaky clean,"spiritual " sister.

alot of my peers around me were rebelling and going off the rails but not me.

i was constantly praised for this and even felt a little smug about it ha!.

But if i wasnt it would have been WW3 at home i guess ....big time ... ( it was even anyway )

Past is the past; and you CANT change it ....and maybe i think if you want to smoke drink and spend nights with many different people you can wait after 18 anyway .no ?

Many teens with parents whom are not jw do the same . quiet until 18. thats all .

dont really know if its good or bad . and i dont have kids myself ......

What i regret the most about my teenage times in jwland is that i was going door to door every f...ing week ,and that every year i signed "by myself" this f...ing «blood card» .

I guess i was too young and powerless to say «NO» !

This list is missing many other things ........

Nevertheless dont forget some people NEVER wake up ......!!
