not to forget that Jesus served the bread and wine to followers with a pronounce earthly kingdom hope, so did Jesus in a way, as the second Adam with everlasting life on earth as a certainty, that he was willing to sacrifice, and
he used language to match that hope, "drink of the fruit of the vine, sit on tables eating". see also question in Acts 1, 6,7. about earthly kingdom, not denied.
John 6 too points to using the metabolism to absorb symbolic flesh and blood for everlasting life, the new covenant for forgiveness of imperfection.
wt writers need a serious analytical bible reading program.

Musk learning a hard lesson right now, building stuff in tents and launching powerful rockets on rickety stands might not work. but ,
you could put artemis into starship, and ship it to the moon. for 250 ~~000~~ $ a pound. ponder that.

114,000, Literal, or Symbolic?

a poster wrote to me privately, and brought to my attention the following comment below i made a while back in regards to the 144,00 number of revelation.

i had casually conjectured that this number was likely symbolic in line with the book of revelation being mostly symbolic in kind.

note that in Rev 7, both Israel and the 144000 are contrasted. The total membership of the 12 tribes is indeterminate. the number of those sealed out of it, is precise, and limited. the angels are counting.
until the last one is found. literally.
It makes the New Jerusalem 144001.

Current wt doctrine has the anointed generation of 1914 pass away to heaven at the outset of the Great Tribulation. however,
the text above quoted for this discussion clearly states that this generation will survive all the things (not pass away until) the whole GT, the fall of Babylon, Judgement of goats, Armageddon), has occurred, is passe'. so,
wt writers have here already contradicted Jesus' prophecy. False even before failed fulfillment reveals their error as in all the other instances, -- just by context. . time to recant, correct. abandon, apologize. imho.

thank you fisherman, ditto. I am making sure of that, by having flat bread and wine under all the full spring moons, because all those appreciating the ransom must partake, as commanded. I will leave it up to better judges to assign me my destiny.

so, why did the reigning king, with all the authority given to him, not support the dissenting voices, that branded wt teaching wrong at the time and now, such as :
the false prophecy of wt in 1918/1919 that " millions then living will never die" ?
Do you assert that Jesus favours falsehood over truth? is powerless to stop falsehood? Of course
In the current weekly meetings, wt shows the true prophet languishing in prison, lying spirits favoured, The powerful killing, dispossessing the righteous and lowly, with no intervention.

after a thursday night meeting and a quick bite to eat afterwards with friends at a local restaurant, he was kidnapped, taken to a gas station and forced to drive his killers around for hours while they were in the back seat.

I would expect that anybody menacing my family would deserve a deadly response. After all there is the resurrection hope for them. Jesus died for them.
A surer way to get them into paradise than the house to house work.
