the wt study for this week is all about disfellowshipping.

in an early paragraph it said "think how heartbroken jehovah must have been when members of his own angelic family turned their back on him!".

however when you think about it, when this happened according to the wt teaching, jehovah still engaged with satan in the heavens (book of job) and had conversations with him about what was going on in the earth.. so why do the wt org practice shunning when jehovah god obviously didn't?.

***a disfellowshipped person has been convicted. of, and "served time", for breaching a divine law. Surely a deed graver than violating secular regulations.

This was all about apostates, dissenters, not the repeat adulterers, childmolesters that you do not want as friends, org or not.

He was the I0 against one whistleblower, clear talker of the bunch, expelled, nearly killed by his loving brothers.

They ended up eating out of his hand.

Rev. 7 set in "the Lord's day", still gives Joseph and his son the most realm.

PS: I remember from the 60s, where an innocent mate had to give consent to a guilty party in a scriptural divorce to remarry.

A vengeful, hurt victim, of a scoundrel, could ruin that one's life, by withholding that permission, if the wrongdoer wanted to "survive Armageddon", wanted wt's favour. a kh wedding.

performances are ephemeral.

you hear a live performance - and it's gone.. a recording may preserve that 'in a certain way' but it can't preserve it against other performances of the same thing.
