and there can be sequels, because the wt to 2075 scenario is based on Adam, the bachelor. The reason 1975 failed (according to them), is, that Adam ultimately married the final masterpiece, Eve, and only that rib cloning started the sabbath.

neat blue dog, thank you, but I thought these days you need at least a bachelor (5) degree for that, seeing that they are so rare in the GB.
I found it interesting, that by prompting from Fisherman, one can cover from Adam to Armageddon (and beyond) through 4 one-time male virgins; like the old-timer A-A h2h sermons .

Fisherman: since you like numbers, Another bachelor, Fred .Franz (who gave us 1975), would live another 17 years after 1975, to 1992. An anointed*** born in 1975 , overlapping Franz by 17 years, and living to his age, would die in 2074, leaving a year to finish the dirty work of Armageddon in 2075.
Another bachelor, the king ruling since 1914, could then proceed with the wedding with his bride, the then complete "New Jerusalem".
*** The possibly older-than Franz anointed was mentioned by David Splane in his chart video, and that overlapper of course was a bachelor (or bachelorette) at one time, perhaps even until the 2075 144k+ 1 wedding of male virgins.

1975... the year that keeps on giving.
by silentbuddha inso i recently moved back to my really really really small hometown in the south.
it was the place that my parents moved to from a major city up north in the early 1970's.
when we lived here times were very tough financially and i was always told that the reason we did not attend meetings was due to the fact that we had no car / no gas for the car / could not afford repairs for the years we were there.

Confusion with 'Message of Judgement'
by Listener inthere has been some discussion regarding the change in the jws message so i thought i would have a listen to the recent annual meeting to try to get an idea as to why the jws are not clear on the matter, once again.
it's strange that the annual meeting hasn't been put on jw org tv to date.it looks like the confusion stems from a talk given by tight pants tony and i've written out a part of that talk.
his talk was titled 'making our blows count'.

Pre 1975 wt put a limit of 6 month on any bible studies. even dear old ladies serving tea to special pioneers for years, were to be dropped after the 6 month ultimatum.
Strange though, with wt expecting the six thousand years to end and paradise to begin,after Armageddon, they never had the guts to actually go into full "judgement message " mode, tracts and all.
Perhaps that is why Armageddon did not come. Wt not printing the right stuff, and UN not responding and attacking... ha ha. Tony came close to the 6 month limit again. nice try.

backhanded compliment to Sunday speaker
by road to nowhere ina couple years ago we had a speaker, better than average, give the talk.
since i was still pretty much a believer, i commented to him how i enjoyed the talk, and how it was "entertaining".
it was, but he got mad as it was one of the beat the fear of god (governing body) into you talks.
