  In the last 20 years How Many Changes Have Occurred in Watchtower Beliefs?

  jehovah's witnesses say that they have the truth and the truth is constant.

  they believe that what they teach is the truth that comes directly from jehovah god.

  can you think of anything that has changed in the last 20 years to show a jehovah's witness that the truth is not necessarily the truth..

  The condemnation of wt lies in the fact that they will disfellowship a JW for disenting from a then current doctrine, but not re-instate that person automatically when his former insight is reflected in the inevitable change aka , "new light". "further consideration".

  The most blatant change for me is, that they now, in their final "generation" teaching, flagrantly contradict Math 24: 34: quote:

  "--this generation will not, by no means pass away--" - to- " --The anointed generation will pass away, on to their reward, before all these things occur.

  Their reward being to participate in the slaughter.

  What's Going on In Quebec? Class action?

  a class action would really open some eyes i suspect.

  for those of you that can remember.... did you really believe that armageddon was going to come in 1975?

  i was a child of the 60s, in my teens in the 70s and can honestly say that i never bought into it.

  i saw brothers and sisters selling their homes and moving into rented property.

  The date came upon us , during book "study" 6 years ahead. We had just retired from a decade of special pioneering, after the "Superior Authority" re-reversal. so, we decided it would be cheaper to build a house instead of renting (as wt paupers) , and live in comfort until "the end", in a choice location, "need greater" too,

  It was just a date, further into the future than we expected, what with nuclear war, ("god's) intervention) always being only 15 minutes away.

  just a date , like 1914, no firm expectation, no dreams of horror and paradisaic bliss. Strangely, some well to do worldling, that valued our genuine sincerity, bought also into it, kind of, fearing the coming judgement?

  Never regretted being conned be wt into the real estate, real world mode.

  The current wt predictions imply an end of the overlap by 2075. Very good deals possible with that scenario too. now that we know.

  Never forgave wt for having made us tools & fools by foisting these ideas (Superior Authorities J1 & J2) , 1975 on others, Being false prophets is their problem, making us participants is criminal fraud. never again.
