I would not take any posts personally, even if they are. Of course some posters seem to get their jollies out of trying to decimate others, but hey, deal with the substance.

but it started when i was looking for what info goes on a publisher card, which led to me reading one person's story (ex bethelite) which was pretty crazy to an all-in jw but who trusts those apostates...?.
then i started watching videos on cults, as if my subconscious was trying to tell my concord mind something... when i saw a particular one about a young man in lds getting ready to start their 2 year preaching campaign, including a school, social activities etc, i realized that i couldn't tell the difference between the folks of this mormon cult and the jws (save for some religious differences) .
follow up on earlier, post. . The wake up call came in a dramatic way, as I was defeated in a bible study session of the flagship "Let God be True" book containing the Superior Authorities erroneous teaching, the same day (actually within minutes) hat the new /old light became known to me, via the brown subscription wrapper. Wt had made a fool out of us by making us peddle, back up with our reputation, false doctrines they concocted.
Giving them a second chance to redeem themselves by 1975 (by hedging and building a house), we realize the whole doctrinal structure is false and will have it's defendants hang their heads in shame , better in 1975 then 2075.

The restoration of the 1929 Superior Authorities = secular government teaching flip flop in the 60s. It was, after sleep, the early blinking and seeing the dawn. No wt maneuver was the same again, considered possibly true since then for me. It never was true in the first place of course ps.
A false teaching when, in ww2, people were putting their lives their necks on the line, trusting in a solidly, bible based doctrine.

Never heard of someone having the baptism annulled. heard of re=baptism though, by a person that was not really understanding the dedication that is supposed to precede the immersion. what degree of non-compliance would require doing it again? or have you re-classified as an outsider, or unbaptized "publisher"?

sorry libby if I was not clear, all these Characters that I met, had to be of the sealed anointed partaker, but only Greenlees and another Chitty actually were ib the leadership Governing body. Capman was the head guyonly in Canada for a while.

there were all three at one time at Canadian headquarters. but that Chitty was a lowly worker in the shop, not the BG member. wt teaches that only 144000 are sealed to go to heaven since Pentecost 033, nowadays, that is establish if you take the bread and wine.
so all these probably claimed that heavenly calling. but if it actually exists--- your guess.

it is my contention that the wtbts, (as do all high-control, authoritarian cults), deliberately cultivates dysfunctional beliefs among its members.
in particular, the most destructive of these beliefs are those that undermine one's feelings of self-worth.
for a research project i am doing, i am looking for direct quotes from wt publications that seem to be specifically designed to manipulate the readers into feeling: unworthy, unlovable, inadequate and/or helpless.
or take the recurring wording in this week's wt "study": 4/017 /23. People like Peter, Paul, Elders have "assignments", defined by "privileges" that can be changed, withdrawn, always depending on some undefined higher power, ultimately the Organisation.
