  “there is evidence of a creator if you just look for it”.

  many of us have heard similar sentences from believers regarding proof of creator, proof that their religion is the correct one, proof that their particular sect is the right one, proof that their individual sects interpretation of a certain religious text is the right one, proof that their own personal interpretation of a certain religious text is the right one; the list goes on.. in one of my previous posts, i shared the following thought of mine:.

  but that is exactly how Einstein thought about it, in his fruitful thought experiments, trying in a kind of mental game to pry the secrets of creation, the conversion of energy into matter, the time conundrum from the "lord" ,-- by way of dealing with the creation left behind by the creator. Albert must have felt it was set up like that: Here it is ;--use it,-- admire it, --work to find out my characteristics as expressed in my works.

  smiddy, it was only after reading selected bible texts (make sure of all things) that

  I actually became aware of the crucial importance of that sneaky snake episode to the whole sin / redemption racket.

  I was not fooled as a kid by rumbling sounds in the hallway, but was an adult swallowing it, hook line and sinker. I was past the the little Red Riding Hood and the Talking Wolf age.

  Stupid? no, gullible, in awe by the cosmic context of it all.

  An old man that delivers gifts? quite possible, Grandpa does it all the time! : believable.

  A talking snake? now, or back in time? Billions have believed in it, and in the ramifications* spun from the idea. what gives? * *from Abel to Armageddon, from Eve to everlasting life.

  Evolution is the easy part, I firmly believe in that mechanism. the harder one is abiogenesis, the start of life, the appearance of matter, a form of energy, the laws that govern nature, the enigma of eternal time. your comment shows you have too narrow a view of creation, which is at least 4 times older than evolution's start.

  P.S. Belief in creation, a creator, does not necessarily equate with belief in a personal (for you), intervening "god"

  Question on another site: what language did God speak in genesis ( the book). many answers: old hebrew---

  my contribution: it was a monologue , he mumbled either in Makeish or Createse. " let there be light " and

  talking about the germanic connection: the german verb for dying is "sterben" the related english word is "starving" It is a fact that the cause of death is mostly starvation. of one kind of another. not a kind thing to happen to you.

  is the governing body.... a: completely sincere.

  they really do believe what they teach.. b: somewhat sincere.

  I have been in close contact with Knorr, Frantz, Herd, Splane, that does just makes me only an observer of outward appearance indicating character.

  I would say they are sincere to the point that they would do anything to have their state of mind come true in reality.

  thank you, I am not a deep scholar, and the wt illustration with Peter scrambling out of the hole with the full moon rising in the east, reminded me of the palm fringed sight at memorial, but it struck me as odd, that the most important Christian holiday would not be enshrined in scripture from the very start. Glad that some of our chains are broken too , like Peter's.

  P.S. one would think with the big night so close, past or not, would at least merit a passing connecting reference? now "-- if I ruled the world--", inspired the bible---

  It is very hard to miss seeing creation, usually the sign of accomplished work, the doings of a creator, unless you believe that the universe created itself. Observe how creation works, and do not be disillusioned by comparison to our family based world picture, providing father, nourishing mother. i

  Death is a necesity for life.
