Disillusioned JW: The word "touche" to me carried a kind of dismissive message, but I wanted to have the fact that in the story, "Jesus" never used the official name for the deity in his prayers to sink in deeply.

We are supposed to follow His example, and Wt's adherents really really cheapen the Most High's designation, by the hundreds of times it is kicked around in meetings, conversations. worship my foot.

Jesus made known the name, namely the meaning , majesty, but never mentioned it himself. well,

can someone explain why a 'Y", oh my, is in the hebrew writing of the divine name, if hebrew only had consonants in writing? "Y" , or ypsylon is a pronounced vowel in many languages, not a substitute for a "J". Is this a quirk of the english translations only?

I see the Son and/or Father issue resolved when you see a 3D relief of J letters, superimposed on each other, like in an ornamented antique bible, one clear J on a bigger basic J.

that is pretty early given the 12 billion year age of the universe assigned by scholars who adhere to naturalism.

Dark matter/energy (you must know that those are the same by now) has been observed, it is what causes gravitational lensing. The problem is that we don’t know what dark matter/energy is made out of, because there is none near any traditional matter that we are used to.

AM not so, even ordinary mass' gravity has most influence only outside its "surface" , dark matter is not a halo but also inside an entity. (There is no gravity inside a hollow sphere, at the center of the earth, or a black hole, or inside dark matter.)

dark energy might be the eternal, all pervading energy that "appears" inside, as the universe expands into the future.

what does a 'ransom' normally achieve?.

wt doctrine is, that the "anointed" get the right to everlasting life through partaking, and they then sacrifice that acquired right, as Jesus did, to aspire to immortality in heaven.

which begs the question, if the anointed partakers get the right to everlasting life on earth, why does wt not allow those that do not want to go to heaven pastake, to get at least a crack at the basic ransom offering? ? After all, Jesus served the emblems to those with an earthly kingdom hope?

Jesus: " you will be with me in Paradise" , even without prior partaking. just for a few moments of countable "service time".

Everlasting life on Earth is impossible, the planet and its furnace is half finished. so:

make that a temporary paradise on this planet. aka heaven on Earth, or paradise in heaven.

i know who won't be saved according to witnesses and that includes just about everyone alive at armageddon who is not a jehovah’s witness.

others who are permanently lost include adam and eve, those who died in the flood, people of sodom and gomorrah and apostates to their one true religion..

what if this whole salvation/ not dying idea is a misreading of the purpose of life in the universe?

Dying , particularly late in life is good for the species, striving for betterment, progress.

fertile seniors have pushed our species into longevity, methuselah of old fantasies notwithstanding.

God Believer:

nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed,

These past "personality traits" were abandoned changed, finished. not just swept under the carpet by the ransom. about the danger of them to recur in a dedicated christian, it mentions that it would amount to sacrificing the Christ anew.

The ransom is not the carefree cover all that some make it out to be, not saved no matter what.
