  Concept faithful discreet slave

  according to the "new light" the faithful slave class appeared after jesus came 1914 (rather 1918 he inspected the temple) and was bestowed with assigement to provide spiritual food.. there are a number of problems with this new concept:.

  how did russel and co found out about certain unique teachings diffferent from mainstream christendom?.

  option 1) apparently by himself, as there was no fds at his time.

  inbetween09. logic: if wt places the F&DS of 1919 in the last generation prophecy of Math 24: 34, they have agreed that Math 25 is also included in "all these things". But that chapter finishes with the sheep going off into everlasting life. So, the generation that does not pass away are the Other Sheep, not the anointed at all, for they will already have passed away prior to all this finality / infinity. so;

  the concept of the wt's anointed faithful discreet slave generation is ill conceived, a con. . not discreet, but discredited. the butt of the joke.

  If the globular Earth would be reconfigured after the 1000 years to have 4 corners, it would actually be a three sided pyramid. a very appropriate symbol of the scheme that the bible based belief is.

  ib09: right! and placing the Faithful & Discreet Slave only into the last generation, disenfranchises the apostles, all martyrs, and empowers the Brooklyn's 7. but destroys their legitimacy if you look at those conclusions.

  New Light has been minor adjustments in doctrine. Even the Overlapping Generation still has the final point that "this generation will by no means pass away." They just kicked the can down the road...again.

  t_b_k: great!: Churches have been kicking the can since the first century, now wt wants to stop that. because the wt's anointed generation has to pass away, to be gathered to heaven.way before the end. and Jesus said that it will not pass away.ever. so:

  i am translating jwfacts to spanish.

  i am doing the "statistics" section.here are two graphs that show that the statistics have never been worse for the watchtower:quantity of hours required for 1 baptism: note how low it went in 1974-1975, and note that 2016 is much higher than the slump of 1978... about double, to be exact.

  2016 was a historical record in this statistic (higher is worse for watchtower).. this stat is the baptisms as a percentage of the publisher average.

  Even in Jesus' day, there existed near-instant recording, manual writing of tax receipts for example, but while Jesus, the most knowledgeable man who ever lived, did not sink so low as to write himself, his biographers finally got around to penning it decades later. so

  g.o.d. has a safety time delay of decades build into his communication system, it is the past that is his pastime, not the future.

  talking of the future, if the creator is eternal, he has been already there, eternally, watching us, from a distance, what will evolve, as we travel through time.

  with par. 16, wt admitted that the "pearl of great value" illustrated on page 9, is in fact a empty bauble, a bubble ready to burst. because it represents

  The wt kingdom of 1914, with millions then living that would never die, 1925, 1975, 2075, were all sold as shiny new gems in their time, , but now are old tarnished, discarded truth in the "treasure chest" of jws.'

  These burst bubbles of hope were once payable with your life. because you would have been disfellowshipped for opposing, not treasuring them.

  No wonder the guy on page 9 is so wild eyed, it is crazy, too good to be true.

  The illustration, lead paragraphs' theme: joining wt will cost you. dearly, preferably all. as said before, the treasure is i nvisible, but it is worse, wt admits it is worthless because:

  The coverup clincher is par. 16.

  treasures are "scriptural adjustments" aka "new truth" "put them in your treasure chest, study them carefully, meditate..."

  yeah, ( not too critically though, not as to raise embarrassing questions, like: why did we believe the previous treasure before, that is now trash? ( even expunged from wt libraries?) why did I invest all my life, time, potential wealth in that treasure, that wt has declared past invisible treasure / trash now)? why did wt make these mistakes? did not listen to "apostate" objections?

  from wt treasure to wt trash, by one stroke of the wt pen. not only invisible, but with short shelf life, fakes.
