Please help

my wife and i are not religious nor do we want to be.

we are very set in our spiritual beliefs.

we have worked with a jw who's family have been like a part of our family for 6 years.

Lots of JWs don't have children because the end of the world is just so near, or they have disowned their own children for not wanting to be JWs, or there children are pionnering in some stupid country and literally don't have a pot to piss in and of course they don't have any grandchildren because of the stupidity they have brainwashed there children with.

They leech on to other people kids. They try to fill the void of there pointless lives by being helpful to young families. You have no idea the danger you are exposing your children too.

the watchtower has taught for over a century that plague is part of jesus’ sign letting earth know he’s lurkin’.... combined with the recent acceleration by the chinese gubmint of ejecting jws from china, it’s no surprise that dubs are of the belief that ‘jehovah is punishing china’.. dubs must be expecting a few large earthquakes to strike china in the next weeks with possibly a war or two, to round out the pain of jesus’ sign to these wicked jehovah haters..

I had a debate with a JW about how awful the world was being and I told him every single measureable of the human condition had improved since the end of ww2 and especially since the year 2000.

Life expectancy

infant morality

calorie intake food production

people living under democracy

people killed in armed conflict

ability to read and write

He didn’t believe me.

I would love to show him the studies.

The reality with this disease is it will actually save hundreds of thousands of lives if not millions because it raises awareness of basic hygiene and cooking practices when dealing with the flu and common cold.

That will never make any watchtower.

Middle class elders and pioneering children

i was looking at my hall the other day some of the upper elders who are retired now have had some pretty good jobs and lives of relative comfort.

i am not exactly sure what the education levels were but they were white collar.

most likely started in a world where you didn’t need a lot of education to get a head.

I am not here to argue the merits of a college education. I am sure lots of people do fine without one. I make about 60000 annual with a one year certificate.

I just hate the fact “ hey could you do some crappy joe job your whole life . It makes me look good in my special club.”

To be honest, most JWs aren’t smart enough that this makes any real difference anyway.

Some of them have pioneering children in there 20s and 30s living in absolute poverty. Janitorial work all night to hand out rags all day.

My question is do you think these people are so diabolical they would encourage their children to live like this to kept there status in there special club or are these living like this out of there own free will? I can understand a janitor pioneer in poverty raising another success like themselves but if you had a brain in your head , you think you would what better for your children.

Man if there is anything more annoying than the WTS it has to be the alphabet club. To me it’s kind of like al-quada vs isis.

The sad part is between the WTS and team alphabet , real Christian charities that do real good works are going to lose there tax free status. I get back like 75 percent what I give my church.

Let’s say your a contractor or small business owner in a small community. Why do you do good work or charge fair prices ? It’s cause your name is at stake. Your name represents what you are.

Jesus is called the image of god. The exact representation of the father.

Jesus saying I have made your name known or thank you for the name you have given me has more to do with this kind of thing than providing the missing vowels of the Tetragrammaton.
