i was driving down the street and my daughter pointed to the sign on the pole.
then it was on the next pole and the next and so forth.
Mamashel,
If you catch up with them, ask them if they have a branch in the UK, we need them here!

some fundamentalists believe halloween is the devil's holiday.so are you doing anything on halloween?
Oh, shit! I was getting all Halloweenery and all that. Thinking that it would be great to take my two daughters for a FUN night out when I realised that my ( JW ) wife is going to stay with her ( JW ) sister that week and taking the girls with her!
I wonder if it was planned?
Anyway, I'll ask her, and I'll ring her next Thursday and see "what they are doing..." that day.

I've just read some of Jan's posts. Although I have never met her in person, it is obvious that she always put other people first. Kind, loving and caring. My sincere condolences to Jan's family and many friends.

99% of Bible scholars would disagree with him. Mantey, Metzger, Bowman, Walter Martin, etc. The guy must have been paid to write what he did.
i know him from silentlambs and now he is here.
i just wanted to welcome him here.. .
welcome buster!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the board, Buster, Rei and Goshawk!

what prompted this topic was when an ex-jw ( ex-elder ) friend of mine told me that once when he was doing a "car" witness with three others, near to christmas time, they lost one of them!
after a bit of searching along the route, the others eventually found him in a house, eating a mince pie and drinking a glass of brandy!.
my friend reminded him that he shouldn't be participating in these " worldly things.

Was he maybe doubting the WT rule in some sub-conscious sense? Did YOU ever doubt the WT's "rules"?
Were they really that important?
When it came down to brass tacks, would you allow your child to die if he/she NEEDED a blood transfusion?
Would you tear up the christmas card that he/she had so lovingly made to you, in front of all the other parents?
I'm sorry but that last sentence really did it for me.........
