Why the big fuss?
by Marilyn inleander's final day at the tower, has made me wonder, about why the big fuss when people leave?
we try to tip toe out, shutting the door quietly as we go, but inevitably the game of cat and mouse begins.

my little brother can't talk to me because my mom qouted a proverb "he that has dealings with the stupid one will fare badly" and i am the stupid one...

I think the person that reasons that way to not have dealings with you because you don't go to their meetings would qualify as the "stupid one" certainly not you.-Rick

I think it's a combination of losing control over somebody, and the instilled belief that nobody can or would just leave without some wrongdoing of some sort. So being what they are trained to be they go looking for the dirt and either regain control of the person or oust them officially. It's a ridiculous cycle I think.

That is terrible. How people can reason away something that way is insane to me. I could not get into a discussion with someone like that without punching them out I'm afraid. They really don't get it and that is sad but at the same time dangerous.

Well today is the day that I leave the WTS
by Leander inthis morning i told my wife about my decision to step down as a ms and that i also would'nt be attending any meetings.
she made a few comments that i expected her to make, but strangely enough she was for the most part very silent.
she made it clear that she was against the decision but outside of a few other comments she said very little.

Big 200
