New Loophole Created: You can cheat on your spouse without him/her being able to divorce you
by ILoveTTATT2 inthe new "pillowgate" video exposed a loophole in the witnesses´s thinking, showing how dangerous and stupid legalism is.. this loophole is sure to destroy many people´s lives.. 1) they said that two men masturbating at the same time in front of each other does not constitute "porneia".. 2) "porneia" is the only biblical reason for divorce.. 3) from 1) we can also get two women masturbating in front of each other, or a man and a woman masturbating in front of each other, does not constitute "porneia".4) most people would consider masturbating at the same time with another person to be cheating, and a logical reason for divorce.. so this will lead to many witnesses going to the elders and being told that they cannot divorce this person who clearly cheated on them.
then, if this person (the "innocent mate") divorces and marries someone else, then that person would be the one possibly disfellowshipped!the implications of the loophole are so stupid and so damaging!i predict another flip-flop.
"considering things more closely, this is "porneia"... or doubling down on it ("sorry but that is what the biblical limits are") or just fading away into those things that only 1% of jw´s know it´s a rule....

Found this little gem about sharing pillows with other brothers in the Insight on the Scriptures book

Since Jehovah God and Jesus Christ completely trust the faithful and discreet slave, should we not do the same? After all, the slave has shown itself to be faithful in doing its assigned work. For example, the Watchtower magazine has been published for some 130 years.

Interestingly the faithful and discreet slave no longer believe what they themselves wrote as quoted above. The article implies that the fds were responsible for printing The Watchtower magazines for at least 130 years prior to 2009, which brings it back to 1879.
The fds currently claim they were appointed and first appeared in 1919, which was actually 90 years earlier to 2009. Also in 2009 the fds taught they were a class of people that were alive at all points of human history right back to the 1st century. They don't believe that anymore as well.
How can anyone, let alone jehovah or Jesus, completely trust the faithful and discreet when, evidently, they don't even know who they are themselves.
On the other hand, jehovah and Jesus, and everyone else can completely trust the faithful and discreet slave to get it wrong doctrinally and scripturally. Maybe this is what the Watchtower statement was really saying.

Smiddy - one of the key points I discussed with Prime Minister Gilliard, in relation to holding a Child Abuse Royal Commission, was that under Australia's Medicare laws the taxpayer was actually funding the professional help given to victims of abuse and not the institutions. This was potentially 100's of millions every year. Fiscal Policy. Make the organisations who committed the abuse, or who failed to report the abuse, financially liable. Now, under the redress scheme, when formalised, these organisations will be liable. This is what the JWs and Watchtower and the governing body were so terrified of when they instructed Terrence O'Brien to challenge the redress scheme in the final ARC hearing involving the JWs.
Can any of us go public
Well, you don't give info to JW Leaks and expect it not to go public. On the other hand, all relevant JW information has been published on the ARC website. My job is done.
If I remember correctly I provided the ARC with some 6800 pages of internal Watchtower and JW documents. I also provided a damning entire audio recording of a secret child abuse judicial hearing involving the alleged perpetrator and the teenage child victim. This took place in Australia. This judicial investigation, and secret hearing, was run by Watchtower Australia and their lawyer Vincent Toole. Watchtower flew in their child abuse handling team to conduct the entire hearing. Absolutely sickening, dehumanising and obscene in the extreme. It is probably the only recording of an official Watchtower sanctioned JW child abuse investigation in existence.
