The Jehovah's Witness denomination is among the most popular churches in the world.

Especially true if you consider that the JW leaders have been invited to appear before many a government, such as in Australia for the child abuse royal commission which resulted in the denomination being condemned, Russia for religious extremism which resulted in the denomination being banned, Britain which has resulted in the denomination being investigated by the charity commission, to name a few.

Then of course the denomination is also very popular with lawyers and law firms around the world who all want the opportunity to personally meet and talk to the members of the governing body, albeit in a courtroom.

Thinking about the faders in Russia

imagine that you are fading and then, one day, the government bans your religion.. you no longer should have to fake it.

your fade has now been done for you.. but, imagine the fader who now must attend bunker meetings just to maintain being part of the jw family.. for me, the ban would be my ticket out, but i imagine that some faders in russia are still forcing themselves to attend underground meetings.

for those faders in unbanned countries: would a ban be your ticket to religious freedom?.

i would personally say, this was going to happen, but not quite yet.

but then i noticed this recently published story in the south china morning post (a newspaper once owned by rupert murdoch, but now owned by jack ma, one of china's richest men).. quote:.

The JWs "Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy" (1999 and 2006) is also "old Truth" and has been removed from JW.ORG and Watchtower Online Library.

i would personally say, this was going to happen, but not quite yet.

The Watchtower magazine has repeatedly told believers that Britain and the USA in biblical prophecy is a world power, namely the Anglo-American world power, and that Britain is the continuation of the Roman Empire by reason that Rome once controlled Britain.

Hong Kong was also part of that world power for many years as it was under British rule. Eventually it returned, in principle, back to the control of mainland China.

Therefore the Roman Empire overlapped the British Empire which joined the USA in an overlap to form the Anglo-American world empire (power) which overlapped to included Hong Kong which has since overlapped to include China.

Evidently it's an overlapping world empire which includes Rome, Britain, the USA, Hong Kong, and China.

China overlaps Taiwan by claiming it as it's own but the USA refuses to recognize this.

This leaves a few questions that need answering. Who is now the king of the north according to the Watchtower? They don't know. Who is now the king of the south according to the Watchtower? They don't know.

But one think we can all agree on is that the Watchtower is definitely the king of pain and the governing body are the court jester.

If you read the article carefully you will find that there was a period of three months between the earthquake happening and the actual volunteer construction work by the JWs. This delay would have allowed for insurance assessors to process any claims. Insurance companies in Japan do not repair or rebuild your home, you have to organize it yourself and as work is completed make the claim for the value of the work.

This then begs the question: Who received the insurance money for the value of the labor? Was it the JW volunteers? No, they were volunteers. Was it the JW home owner? Yes. Did tbe JW home owner have to pay the JW volunteers? No.

she was just supposed to check heartbeats on the two little ones and they were going strong!

but because she had extra time and she can be quite anal about her work (which is a good thing) she decided to take some measurements.

Try the following link which is from the Australian Child Abuse Royal Commission which will help you with part of your query. See page 18 (facsimile copy below) of the final finding re: JWs and Watchtower.

Add to the 821 legal entities the following:

Watchtower Bible & Tract Society of Australia Ltd (branch office)
Watchtower Travel Ltd (a travel company that is set up allowing it to receive financial kickbacks from conventions and hotel accomodation)
Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Ltd (set up in up 2013 to deflect child abuse lawsuits and to protect the assets - this corporation is operated differently from the corporation of the same name registered in the USA)

By having each congregation registered this means the three elders who are registered as trustees have accepted all legal responsibility on behalf of Watchtower and the governing body.

"Jehovah's Witnesses", the religion in itself, does not exist as a legal entity. Technically and legally speaking it exists only in the minds of people who claim they are 'Jehovah's Witnesses'.

i found this ghost image on google maps of the apostle paul walking on one of his missionary journeys through the region now known as turkey.. evidently the google map car was able to capture the spiritual afterglow of the apostle paul while he was walking along a roadway on his one of his missionary journeys.

interestingly the google mapping computer was able to create an overlapping image from the first century and from the twenty-first century.. .
