What's wrong with this picture?
Simples:
1. In the background, behind the two single brothers on the left, is a single sister. She is being ignored by the two brothers who are only interested in each other.
2. In the background, behind the two single brothers on the right, is a single sister. She is being ignored by the two brothers who are only interested in each other.
3. In the background, behind the two sets of brothers, are two single sisters. Both are ignoring the two sets of brothers. The two single sisters are only interested in each other as the picture shows they are staring at each other across the hall.
4. In the background, behind the two sets of brothers, and between the two single sisters, is a married couple who are ignoring everybody else, and each other, and are staring at the podium.
Evidently, the sexual frustration and tension in this congregation is typical of all congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses around the world.

I bought a commercial grade shade sail, 5.4m x 5.4m, with 95% UV block which is very important in Australia if you are going to swim under it. The 15 year warrantly is great as well. It was well worth the extra cost.This is the one I bought in stone colour:

I had to get a building permit for the posts but included this among other building works I did at home at the same time.

millie210 - jwleaks, how did you manage that sail? That is gorgeous!
In 2009 the local roads department were replacing old timber highway double-sign posts with steel posts. I salvaged as many posts as I could then cut off the rotten section (which is the part that was buried in the ground), paint stripped them, and then gave them a going over with an electric planer and belt sander. Several coats of wood sealer later I concreted the posts in the pool area and attached the shade sail. The cut out features of the posts, i.e. the two round holes and cut line between them, were part of the original posts and were at the height of a car fender and were designed to break the post at the ground level in an accident. I flipped the posts upside and made the safety feature a pool post feature.
The sail is attached to the posts by chain and eyelet with a tensioner between them to take up the slack of the sail. Each post has a different height where the sail is attached thereby creating an angled sail and giving tension. The below picture is the lowest point of the sail / post and is towards the late afternoon sun during summer. The pool is 12 meters in length and is salt chlorinated with a reverse polarity setup. I have a solar heating system for the pool on my shed roof which measures a full 9 meters x 6 meters in size.

My garden. I started in 2008 with a barren yard and have planted and built everything myself, except the pool, but I did build the fencing and shade sail.

Pretend to honour principles, but make laws instead!

How to have fun when translating Watchtowerspeak:
"spiritually mature Christians" - the seven members of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses believe that they alone are the most 'spiritually mature Christians' among the 2.2 billion Christians alive today.
"a firearm" - note the phrase 'firearm' is in the singular and not plural as in 'firearms' but, by contrast, the word 'Christians' is in the plural and not singular thereby denoting it applies to a minimum of "two or more" individuals who are "spiritually mature."
Therefore, as long as Geoffrey Jackson has at least "two or more" firearms "for protection against humans," including "mentally diseased human apostates," then no scriptural principles have been violated. The same applies to the collective governing body.
Evidently, one Christian one firearm is a sin.
After all, this is how the GB translate and interprete the bible.

So Jehovah's Witnesses are being asked to each send six separate letters to six different Russian officials. Can't the governing body let eveyone send just one letter addressed to all six Russian officials and simply call it an overlapping letter?
Can't wait for the JW Broadcast video featuring Stephen Lett ...

What would happen if members of Jehovah's Witnesses around the world started writing letters of disapproval to the governing body, or their local branch committees, over the seizing of kingdom halls and congregation funds by Watchtower?
Would the assets be returned? No. The local bodies of elders would be instructed to seek out the letter writers to silence them with threats of
retaliationdiscipline, i.e. disfellowshipping, if they did not back down. -

smiddy - I dont believe JW`s should be banned in Russia.
Freedom of religion should be paramount for all.
I am interested in reading the personal letters each and every member of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses wrote as well as the letters written by all their helpers and lawyers.
