  in all your discussions with the uns ngo chief, was there any talk about membership fees or dues required from ngos?

  what about the dateline/pedophile show?

  after all the recent events happening around us , i was wondering if any have kept an eye out for the dateline series on the peds in wtbs.. the way it's going this could end up being a mini-series about the "uncovering" of more wtbs lies and deceit.. the un thing sure was a shocker.

  can the pedophile issue be any less shocking to the r& f??.

  my own sister said she was sure the gb thought it over very carefully before they "joined".

  You are right,Dateline is ready to go but was bumped by Terrorism,
  War,and Anthrax.
  It's going to air, no doubt at all about that.
  Dateline has invested much time and money on this story.They will air
  it when they feel it will have the most impact.

  The three reasons we leave the "Truth"

  seems to me there are mainly three roads most of us have taken.

  1.we did something "wrong" and were disfellowshipped and after felt able to look at the society in a different light.. 2.we didn't like the "truth" and were looking for a way out.. 3.we wanted it to be the truth but were overcome by the mountain of evidence against it.. which is the most common i wonder.. also do our motives play a large part in how we deal with information criticising the org.. without a reason to act information seems useless.. for instance if a person feels he has nothing to gain by leaving the org will he read different things into the same info as us?.

  i think so and that all who leave must have a reason to do so, something to gain.. this does not make their reasoning wrong or prove they we are looking for just excuse.. but is a normal way in which humans deals with information.. two humans can have the same information but if they want or desire different things they may use the information differently.. maybe thats wht so many say "where else is there to go?

  JW Children: Feeling alone and sad

  friday many american schools recited the pledge of allegiance to the nation's flag simultaneously, at 2pm eastern time (8am in hawaii).

  to be sure, the pressure on children of jw's was great because of the nationalistic feelings that have swept america in the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks.. should jw parents simply have removed their children for that afternoon?

  or perhaps armed them with a better explanation (about why they won't say the pledge) then "it's because of my religion"???.

  There is no way my mother would have removed my sister and I from school to avoid persecution!!!!!

  She would have viewed that as a lack of faith and trust in Jah!
  In fact she would a little sad if we didn't have a bad experience that she could talk about and feel ever more sure that we had Jah's aproval.

  I do feel sorry for the kids. I remember how hard it was for me and my sister.

  Divide And Conquer /with UN Issue & others

  as this un issue has unfolded we have been working very hard to expose the hypocrisy and deceit of the society to our friends and family and also the public.. we continue to be shocked and amazed at the crazy stunts the wtbs pulls.. when i heard that dutch bethel had something to say about this i started thinking about the uninted we stand, divided we fall concept.. i am wondering if we could put more effort into getting this important information to all wt branches all over the world.. as these issues crop up it would be great if we could publicize all of the branches, their addresses, phone#, fax #, e-mails etc.. i noticed that even within brooklyn they dont always know what is going on.. i was thinking that if i were in one of the other branches around the world i would be enraged that brooklyn got us into this mess and brought reproach on jahs name they are also screwing up with the child abuse issue and many others.. is it possible to cause these other branches to question and turn on brooklyn?.

  any thoughts on this out there?.
