  No Trespassing!! Breaking news for local JW's.

  this week at the book study, at all congregations in the u.s., a letter was read saying if you go to a house or property with a "no trespassing" sign, you must not enter, or knock on the door.

  you have to leave immediately.

  a sign saying "no solicitors" is too ambiguous, and they are to use their own judgment, and don't have to knock.

  Thank you for posting this Mulan. I was speaking to a few friends who are Police Officers and my cousin who practices law. They told me specifically what could happen and why it is better to have a No Trespassing Sign than a no solicting one.

  You can press charges, they can be fined, arrested and even serve jail time for repeat offenses. If continually disregarded you can even sue for harrasment. The sign gives Officers more bite to the offender. They can ask, "Didn't you read the sign or see the sign?" If it is completely visable in several places then there is no excuse for the trespass.

  i havent been around much lately, and i'am almost scared to post.

  i came on to give everyone a big hello and to tell everyone whats been going on in my life this past year.. mostly ive been trying to put together a normal life after the lawsuit.

  jehovah's witnesses sought to have dismissed an abuse suit on grounds of separation of church and state.

  the judge didn't buy it.

  Wow, hopefully it will come to a good out come for the victims. The judge made the first good step by not allowing it to be dismissed. Even by filing the papers will be come public view and another chip will be put into the tower's base.

  i live in a fairly small town, and i run into the witnesses from my old cong with some frequency.

  in general, they ignore me, or give me dirty looks, or, in one memorable instance in the ladies' room at the memorial, call me a whore.

  just for the record, i'm not even close to whorish, i'm pretty straight-laced; this gives me an idea of how much hatred they must be feeling toward me.. today, however, i was walking out of a store, when i heard my name being called.

  You know, it is the "weak" ones that were always the strong, in the congregation. Compassion, Love, and even understanding. It is strange how the "strong" witnesses thought that a weakness. If that is weak then, consider me weak too. I would much rather be a weak person, if being strong means acting like a totally cruel person, devoid of human compassion and love.

  gunfight erupts over recipe squabble .

  bluewell, w.va. (ap) - a family meal erupted into a gunbattle after a father and son clashed over how to cook chicken.

  the two men argued sunday over the best way to prepare skinless chicken for dinner.

  I don't think JW would survive bible times, they would have made too many enemies.

  But, if they did the story of the Loafs and the Fishes..

  They all would have to have tokens to purchase the loafs and fishes. They could not give the extra food to the "worldly".

  You Know What Beanz Meanz..

  would you like beans or tomatoes with that?.

  i was curious that visiting americans find it strange that we should eat baked beans with our breakfast over here.. when else would a person eat beans?.

  I cannot handle certain beans due to growing up eating too many of them. Mom would soak pinto beans and add them as fillers when things were lean.

  Well, I know my sisters are out, even though there is residue. We talking with our brother, who is a smart guy and I think he will figure it out. It is my mother's sister and her children who are hard liners. Our family is a big mix of different religions.

  guess who?.

  i will simply cut and paste the entry i made into the now very detailed log i am keeping since nancy's suicide attempt.

  For what it is worth, I am sorry this is happening; in a way I was hoping they would not involve themselves in this, further. But now, it is done and they have forced your hand for action. To come directly to the Eldership, through a legal letter and make it known that, no Witness is to come to your home at any time, period. This is your chance to put the fear of legal action, in them by having your lawyer go into legal description of what could be done for breech of a court order. Through that, legal action the case would become more public and damaging to them, than any picketing could do, at this time and point. Because it would be a public testament to what lengths they are willing to go.

  I would put up a ?No Trespassing Sign?; the police cannot really make a solid arrest, unless you have a sign up. You want them not to be able to weasel out of it with an, ?I didn?t know.? Excuse. Decorate them with a Halloween Theme.
