Tylin...was he an elder at the KH that was right off the 101 north of Carp? I have former friends that attend there, and they have kids...I wonder if his activities were known to the congregation there? Bet they would be freaking out!...
Yes that is the correct KH in Santa Barbara County where he was an elder for decades. He last attended there around 2006 before leaving to Costa Rica to build on his property. All of the Elders that served at that time have been made aware of the present charges and the current BOE has also been made aware. The publishers and community have been made aware of the charges by email, media outlet and word of mouth. Posters will be going up in 3 counties starting this week.
to Blondie:
Detectives have explained to me that Costa Rica works closely and well with US law enforcement. I have been told they could put a team together and go retrieve him at their will. My feeling, and all indications, is they will wait to see if he turns himself in or the Costa Rican authorities detain him first.

This information has been forwarded to law enforcement. They have gps coordinates and maps pinpointing his local. As it is a fugitive felony, multiple agencies across several countries are involved. It is only a matter of time before the perpetrator is apprehended. I am simply forwarding the information. Trust me I have contemplated internation travel to get the job done myself.

I pretended for 10 years in an effort to preserve my family with 3 tiny children. It came to a sudden halt when she asked for a divorce and swiftly married a much older man. Would love to have that decade back as a do over.

Health - has anyone else suffered long lasting health effects from years with the Borg?
by Chariklo indoes anyone else feel or know that jehovah's witnesses damaged their health?.
i know many have emerged with depression, and i'm very relieved that i am not one of them.. but, being the age i am, (a large tribe of grandchildren) i was nonetheless pressured to go out door to door in steep countryside often in bad weather, and because i was doing my best to keep up that ended in an injury which has proved to be long lasting.. and that's not counting the stress-induced consequences...i won't cite them all here, but physical.
a few days in hospital and a summer spent on compulsory almost complete rest can all be laid at the watchtower's door.the trauma of actually extricating oneself from the borg is not stopped when one has finally written that letter that disassociates oneself from them.

i lost my mom to cancer when she was 48 and my father to suicide at 65. Both were related to over 40 years of turmoil at the hands of WBTS policies regarding shunning and blood. My Ex MIL is dying from cancer presently at 67 and the problem has been exacerbated by WBTS policies regarding child sex abuse. The Ex has had two rounds of cancer and presently takes many prescriptions. I believe growing up with an abusive father (high profile elder and current fugitive) has taken its toll on her health.

Police reports have Holt working with the Heichels two months ago in field service. Photos online confirm his marriage in a Kingdom Hall less than two years ago. Only reports of his serving as a MS from individuals in the congregation have surfaced despite tight control of released information by the Watchtower. While this information has been passed on "by good authority", nothing has been confirmed or validated in police reports about his position in the past within the congregation. The trial process will no doubt reveal many pieces of the puzzle.

Affidavit for a court custody battle with a JW mom/Non JW dad
by Billzfan23 inwhat kind of things would you put in an affidavit to the court for a custody hearing - list them out in this thread for me so that i can disperse each point across multiple pages, making a strong case.
i will start:.
blood transfusions: - jw children are refused blood transfusions that could save their lives.. how about school sports, flag salute, military service, discouraging college education, keeping "seperate from the world", armageddon teachings, etc.. help we fill in a little wordy description and elaborate on each point in this post - it would be very much appreciated!.

I would recommend steering clear of making a battle for custody based on the religion. Judges will run and instruct attorneys to figure things out in mediation.
That being said, you can build a strong case for legal custody based on medical decisions in view of the blood transfusion issue. But it is a murky platform that even hardcore JWs are not clear on. Even with legal custody in the best interests of the child, courts will always strive to provide joint physical custody. So what then?
The strongest platform that you can argue under is parental alienation. While PA is not a recognized psychological condition it has carried much weight in the court systems the past decade. If you are not an attorney prepared to fight against the label, it can succesfully be used in mediation and pre trial hearings to sway parents into custody agreements. Should it make it before the judge, well it is up to his mood on any given day. The gist in your favor if you can expound upon it in depth through motions is, JW parents are adept at alienating children from non JW parents because their religion is purely based on alienation. If you can prove in court the affects that alienating language is being used to steer the children away from you, you will have a strong case. Keep records, journals, recordings, video. It will all be useful in mediation and pre trial. Country and state and age of child also have a bering on strategy.
I have full custody of my daughter based on the issues above and I am in California. Feel free to PM me.
