OK, maybe next I'll try the Lagavulin. First I have to check with mom and dad to see if I'll like it though, they know what I like!
Mom and Dad gave me my first guinness too! Great folks, scotch and guinness. Who could ask for better?

what type of gift would you send to your favourite poster?.
perhaps these two new products from japan would be appropriate for someone you know.. small brush cleans between toes to reduce foot odour.
it's a small brush for cleaning between the toes.
Does the bellybutton cleaner have an adapter for piercings?

dont know if anyone pointed this thread out already or not but its pretty fascinating.
the incredible number of posts in a short time in what is normally a pretty slow forum shows how difficult a situation this for witnesses.
there are so many interesting and wacky comments being made there, you'll just have to read it for yourself.. http://www.witnessesonline.com/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/witnessesonline/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=6&t=000092.
Why is it they don't require two witness for proof of adultery as they do with child molesters?

Hello there ...
just happened upon your site by accident the other night and was pleasantly surprised to find you all communicating here in electronic land.
I have recently just returned to Jehovah and I am attending my local congregation quite regularly now. I was brought up in the truth and baptised when 16.
Dunno what happened really, but at 27 I just went off track. New that I was never really that happy out there in the world and so have made the first few steps to be associated with Jehovah's congregation again.
Going through quite a difficult time as I have given up friends in the world, my relationship and also my job, as none of them would be pleasing to God.
Sorry for rambling a bit, but I feel like I have stumbled upon a bit of an oasis spiritually speaking and it's just what I need right now.
cheers guys
Jas

Hiya Jas - and welcome home!
That's a good description you gave, Great Crowd really is a spiritual oasis.
You will find many friends here who will encourage you to stay in Jehovah's loving care.
What you've left behind you is a "lot of refuse" you wouldn't keep your unemptied dustbin in your bedroom for months would you? So get rid of all the refuse - it soon begins to stink and cause nasty infections if you don't.
Great Crowd is a great place to come, but don't let it take the place of regular meeting attendance and face-to-face conversations with those in your congregation who will build your faith up.

Today is a gift from Jehovah - that's why it's called "The Present".
has anyone else found that the teaching of the "outside world" being a "bad association" limits your involvement and ability to make new freinds?.
if so how have you overcome this and any suggestions to helping those suffering from these feelings?.

I moved into a new neighborhood when my son was just over a year. We'd been out for about a year and I had precious few friends. Long story short - my new neighbor came barging into my life and helped me start making friends. She has since moved across the country but I'm going to visit her next week.
When my son started preschool I just started asking the moms to bring their kids over to play. Works like a charm. Voila! New friends.
Like jterfehr said, you have to just do what you love and start approaching people who share a common interest. It works!

my husband called his cousin this morning and the first thing the cousin said to my husband was something like, are you aware that your wife sent us some information that was very disturbing to us?.
my husband let him know that he did not know i was sending out those letters but he had since done research on the info and found that i was correct.. the cousin asked my husband if he was aware that i could be in trouble for a letter like that.
my husband informed him again that i was telling the truth and he had called the un himself to verify.. the cousin said he would call the society to see if this is true but.
Great letter Ranchette! Sounds like it's working too.
