Bad grammar of any kind irritates me......especially in a potential partner and their literacy skills are worse than my kids.
My irony meter has just exploded ;)
being brought up as a jehovah's witness means you are so used to the term that you rarely stop to think about it.. one thing i've noticed is that people unfamiliar with the religion will say "jehovah witness" (no 's) instead which i always found a bit grating.. but watching the us election, something struck me.
people are often referred to as "trump supporters", not "trump's supporters" and so on.
thinking about other things, people would say they were "united fan's", not "united's fans" and so on.. it seems weird that a group would refer to themselves as though it was someone else talking about them (in the 3rd person, if i have that right).. what do you think?

naturally leads to the question of god.
why does man need god?
why does man create god?
For me I believe in God as cannot believe everything came about by chance,
Evolutionists don't believe everything came about by chance either.
Creation or chance aren't the only two options despite what the WTS would have you believe.
https://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/teen-questions/1 who am i?2 why do i worry about my appearance?3 how can i talk to my parents?4 how can i fix my mistakes?5 what if i’m being bullied at school?6 how can i resist peer pressure?7 how can i deal with the pressure to have sex?8 what should i know about sexual assault?9 should i believe in evolution?10 how can the bible help me?basically a compilation of previous wt articles.let's take chapter 9 on evolution:statements as quotes below are really going to help jw teens defend creation:
“if you were walking through the forest and discovered a beautiful house, would you think: ‘how fascinating!the trees must have fallen in just the right way to make this house.’ of course not!
it’s just not reasonable.
sowhy should we believe that everything in the universe just happened to come about?”

“imagine that someone told you that there was an explosion at a printing plant and that the ink spattered onto the walls and ceilings and formed the text of an unabridged dictionary.

Great isn't it. Ridiculous statements that a 1st year biology student would be shaking his head at.
i am amazed at how people will go to extreme stretches of logic to explain or justify the supposed actions of their god (lower case g intentional, no upper case deserved).
i have seen people with wonderful bullshit detectors in normal life, throw all of that ability away in order to retain their hope of a creator who cares for them.
i am agnostic, certainly not atheistic, since i think atheism is not provable.
Cofty beat me to it.
Atheism dosn't need to be proved. It can't be proved as it's a negative. The natural state is atheism, It's the existence of a deity that has to be proved
as i seem to remember, in april 2010 i bought one of the first ipads.
i saw the virtue of using it immediately.
it was wifi.
People seem to be getting quite worked up about this and I'm not sure why. They've just altered their opinion as the devices have become a lot more popular and attainable. Fair enough.
There's lots of things to rightfully criticise the WTS for, but this doesnt even register on the scale.
i have already posted how i outed to an elder.... the only results were that another elder mentioned to me: "i heard you have doubts about the truth will you meet with us and clear it up... i also had doubts... i fixed them i can help.
" laughing inwardly i said sure.. oh i'm going to slaughter this moron.
when he asks my doubts i will show him the chromosome #2 video with ken miller.
So let me get this straight, you're going to go after them with science and non WT approved history? Two things JWs don't believe in?
What he said. It's a complete waste of time.
250 million years ago a plume of molten basalt gushed up from the earth's core.
it erupted in an area now known as the siberian traps - back then it was part of the supercontinent pangaea.
a curtain of lava a mile high and hundreds of miles long lit up the sky.
Creationists have no theories in the scientific sense of the word. They have lies that they tell one another with absolutely no evidence at all. We are now on number 36 in this series and not one single fact has been offered in rebuttal.
Who needs facts and evidence when there's a dislike button. ;)
why do people care so much about celebrities?
No celebrity death affects us as such, but one that I was sad about was Robin Williams a year or two ago. Always been a big fan of his stuff and he did seem a tortured soul.
There was also a local sports commentator who died recently. He had a unique way of presenting and was a huge fan of the local team he commentated on. He'd been commentating on the team for about 30 years and I'd grown up listening to him with him becoming a staple part of my sat afternoon listening. That got to me a bit.

well, let's see .
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
i was talking with a friend of mine who knows a few people in the home department at bethel.
apparently, prince was, as i noted in the title, on the board of directors.
he apparently was sort of a silent partner or advisor in the whole thing.
