  the international assemblies are on... and the missionaries are coming home... and leaving richer.. i have, in all seriousness, been told by a co that the missionaries going home have large sums of money hidden in their luggage as they go back to their assignments.

  a sister in the congregation is planning to divorce her husband who is also a witness so she can marry a different brother in the same hall!

  I have seen this many times. They get a divorce which is frowned on but not a DFing offence but to get remarried is. They take the hit and do the time and then once reinstated its just wonderful again. Accept people will talk behind their back for many many years.

  i am having trouble locating what is the 1914 prophecy?

  jw.org states that the jw's accurately predicted the events of 1914, but do not indicate what the predictions were, or the specific fulfillments.

  what do jw's think they are (predictions/fulfillments)?

  The thing is they I.E Russell predicted that 1914 would bring the start of Armageddon. Satan was thrown to earth with his demons in the fall of 1914. This did not start Armageddon but WW1 did erupt and it was brewing long before Satan was supposedly thrown to earth in the fall of 14. To say they accurately predicted WW1 is like Sylvia Brown saying a Ship would sink and a plane crashed and then claiming I was right see. No you were not.

  i knew of a ministerial servant that was called out because he used fire crackers on the 4 th of july.

  we had to have an emergency meeting as to his qualifications.

  i remember imploring the body to not make a big issue over this and it was decided to just “counsel” him about being involved in a patriotic holiday.🤨.

  We always went to see the fire works. I would hear some laboring over that if you can see them from your home and watch is that celebrating? Going to some place specifically to see them would be wrong. bla bla bla. More stupid crap from the cult. I never bought into this crap. I would drive to find a good spot and sit and watch.   To argue this is to assume the Bible is the in errant word of god which it is not. It is nothing more than the ramblings of goat herders. To argue the minutia of a book of crazy shit it to drop down to a lower level. No proof of god or that the bible is anything more than I stated. Does it have some historical facts. I am sure but is it all true, absolutely not. No world flood, no man who took all the animals two by two on a huge wood boat, no garden of Eden, there is not even any proof that Jesus existed, and even if he did none that he preformed any of the so called miracles.

  i know a lot of you don't even know who 50 cent and ja rule are, but anyway, these guys have been sworn enemies since the late 90s.

  they are rappers, and ja rule's mother was a jw.

  she is now disfellowshipped, and ja rule said that he stopped attending the hall around age 11. he was never baptized, and has stated that he hates the religion.

  People who do this have serious mental issues. Its like seeing a down syndrome kid and saying they are normal. There is a difference between making fun of someone and seeing that they have a mental problem. People who are biological men or woman and think they are something else are no different than people who have other mental issues. Some have an obsession to have limbs cut off, some to kill. There are all kinds of mental issues but the left tries to normalize it as OK.

  You don't have to make fun of someone bully them or call them names but you also do not have to say they are normal and its all OK. Pedophiles have a mental issue. From the Psychiatrists I have worked with over the years, they all told me that they can not say it in public as its not accepted as PC and they can get into trouble but that Pedophiles have a mental disorder and its not something that can be modified. They will go after a child first chance they get.

  Not that being a tranny is the same as a pedophile that I know of, in that they don't harm anyone or attack or pray on others that I know of. But neither do cutters or many other mental illnesses. But that is not to say they are OK. It could be that being a tranny is just a mental illness like a hoarder, does not really harm anyone, but its still a mental illness non the less.

  All people with disorders want their disorder to be normal and accepted, even pedophiles. You have NAMBLA and the arguments that if to humans love each other bla bla bla. But if we are to keep our society the liberals must be put down as they want to normalize every perversion. They want to turn the world upside down, Cops are bad, thugs like Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin are good, Illegals are good and breaking the law is OK. So if a guy robs a bank to feed his kids its OK? The world is heading down a very dangerous road. Liberals are too stupid to see the end game of their foolish ideas.

  Repercussions over Whiskygate?

  anyone any idea if there have been any repercussions over whiskygate and if anthony morris was ushered into the backroom after a meeting?

  i am pretty sure if this had been a member of the r&f and the video was all over the internet, something would have been said about being careful not to bring jah's organization into disrepute.

  i am sure the local elders in the congregation he is assigned to wouldn't have the balls to do it and there would have to be a mole pretty high up to find out if the gb got involved.. we can but speculate i guess..

  Many JWs are so blinded and brain washed they don't use or in a very limited way use the internet. Take a look at social media. I bet no more than 1/3rd of most congregations use it or the internet for more than a place to buy something off of Amazon.

  i dropped out with 3 months left to go of the 12th grade.

  my uncle offed me a job and the end was only a few years away.

  my mother even though she was dyed in the wool at the time said she would only go along with it if i took a correspondence course out of american correspondence school out of chicago.

  same here, I never was told to try. I was also raised in a very abusive home. But I can not put that on the cult. But if my family were part of a normal religion Catholic, or Protestant There most likely would have been more support from the congregation. I want to see these assholes go down in flames. Burn baby burn.
