  I disagree. People are not doing that as a greta career choice. It's because they have been mistreated or abused and people have taken advantage of them.
  The real-world isn't like a "Pretty Woman" movie.

  Not all prostitutes are forced into it. Some indeed go into it willingly and even plan it out for a set term. I know several personally.

  Nothing wrong with seeing prostitutes if that's your thing. Non of our business either. Now, if they're minors (which is a very serious accusation) you need to provide evidence. Otherwise its just another crazy apostate ranting online. And we're trying to move away from that image JWs have of us.

  The amount of new PIMOs on exJW Reddit is staggering. The younger generation are waking up at a terrific speed. I read stories on there and the amount of people attending while knowing its bullshit and trying to leave is very comforting.

  Remove the shunning of those who leave and I reckon at least a third would dissappear from the stats immediately.

  Changed From "Disfellowshipped" to "No Longer One of Jehovah's Witnesses!

  a friend is trying to figure out the approximate date or letter, which indicated a change from the wording of public announcements.. they changed from saying the person has been disfellowshipped to saying that a person was no longer one of jehovah's witnesses.. i thought it was around the time of the bulgaria scandal.. could you help us out to remember when this change took place?

  if we could remember the approximate year, we could look up all the boe's for that year and might find the letter.. many thanks!.

  I believe this ''No longer a JW'' change was in early 2005.

  This sounds about right. I was born in the mid 1980s and remember the "so and so has been disfellowshipped" announcements as a kid.
