Ice Skating on Eiffel Tower?

my wife and i are heading to paris for christmas this year.

it's a landmark year for all sorts of reasons, milestone anniversary her milestone birthday, and my recovery.

she loves ice skating.

My wife and I are heading to Paris for Christmas this year. It's a landmark year for all sorts of reasons, milestone anniversary her milestone birthday, and my recovery. She loves ice skating. Has anyone first hand knowledge about ice skating on Eiffel tower? It would seem to be a straightforward question but surprisingly it's not. The official website says nothing, a number of tour sites say yes and one skating website says no.

Apart from that, what would you recommend to see or do in winter there. We are going to the Louvre of course, any favorite places/restaurants etc.???

Car Projects

how many of you enjoy car projects?

we do one for the parade most every year.

this year was a bust but the project is done and ready for next july.

I put all Toyota drivetrain under the Suzuki, the front was from a Canada model we didn't get here because Jeep sued them over the vertical slots. Kinda wish I had kept that one, the truck I mean I still have the girl.

i have seen arguments surrounding jesus' resurrection being proof of "the trinity" - now while in some cases it's a good argument the evidence for it remains very weak.

(bible quotes are from the nwt but other bibles are referenced, use whichever you please) this following version of it is a good example.. "the bible indicates that all [persons] of the trinity was involved in jesus’ resurrection.

galatians[1:1] says that the father raised jesus from the dead.

Never mind the issue of human sacrifice supposedly being detested by the God of the Bible. It's why many early Christians did not accept the concept. They saw the death (on earth or in vision?) as a divine tragedy, of the physical vs. spirit worlds.

The question has been argued for 2000 years folks. That, and what happened to the body, did Jesus' body come to life or not? Solutions are only limited by imagination.

Further, the resurrection stories are impossible to reconcile with each other.

non US folks and pumpkin pie

sorry, i didn't know how to classify this- on some cooking boards i am on i came across how some do not understand pumpkin pie at all, particularly down under.

there was a whole thread about picking up libby's pumpkin pie filling (and the expense) and then came the subject of vegemite which does not sound good to me but can't say as i have never had it.

with all the sugar and spices what is not to like about it?

Marmite and vegemite are awful. Sorry. An acquired taste no doubt. I made a pie using cantaloupe (musk melon) first cousins to squash you know. Very nice. Any winter squash will work though butternut is my favorite. Pumpkin pie is traditional at thanksgiving as a new variety of squash the Indians shared with them.

Pecan pie is the best, but diabetic strychnine.

i spent most of my life in the org.

we were taught that our purpose in life was to serve jehovah.

that never really made sense to me, but it was still a purpose to keep going.

As an American I shamefully know just about nothing about the politics over there. Slimboy,,what made you no longer support the SNP? I see on wiki they have some members resisting LGBTQ rights. Was that the issue? From what I read online the party has, unsurprisingly, evolved quite dramatically from WW2 days
