  I agree with Phizzy

  even if you bugged years of GB meetings it wouldn't cause an exodus, just a major response from the GB

  hell, Ray Franz was a GB member that left and wrot a book and the BOrg is now at 8 million. But the response from the GB to CofC was massive and impacted the writing dept. for years, heck even to this day. I for one believe the Proclaimers book was a direct result of C of C.

  if you take all the changes of the past 10 years and list them out they are ENORMOUS. the WTS has completely reinvented itself and the R&F are eating it right up. They're so horny over JW.org and big screens at the DC that nobody even notices the complete absence of any serious articles about blood or the slow depracation of 1914.

  When blood is a conscience decision and 1914 is nothing more than the beginning of the "harvest of the wheat & weeds" these monumental changes will go almost unoticed over the lates released tablet app.

  I think the entire GB being arrested and imprisoned for fostering pedophiles would be huge. Yes this would create solidarity among the hard-liners but for sure a LOT of JW's would go online and exit the BOrg as a result. Leaving only the most loyal committed dubs among the ranks.

  But I guess if they can survive "overlapping generations" they can survive almost anything

  ok so me and my husband were talking to his mum again about why we are no longer going to meetings and got into another pointless discussion where she feels he needs to talk to an elder about his issue's blah, blah, blah... round and round it went...... the thing i wanted to ask was if anybody had heard that there wont be any gb after these one's die??

  this is something she mentioned today and we have never heard of this ever.

  so it means no more will be appointed and they will just die off!

  I think I know the root cause of this rumour...

  this is a speculation based on the overlapping generations explanations.

  we have been assured that we are well into the "2nd" phase of the generation. The WTS used Franz to quantify the first phase and now the 2nd phase is well along so the current GB will outlive this time period to be raptured after the great trib but before the big A

  I heard a friend paraphrase his CO who said as much over dinner at his house.

  blaming her witness upbringing for being murderer? what bullshit. Lawyers will use anything. Why not blame her grade 1 teacher for embarassing her in front of her class? or for the part of the country she grew up in? or because she was poor?

  I loved that scene in Breaking Bad when Jesse Pinkman lashed out in his group therapy session for always "accepting" people the way they are.

  It was a great scene. At the end the therapist had to admit he was not "okay" with what Jesse was doing despite how it made him feel

  if I were a kid with a tablet I would totally have a gaming window open. When mom told me to put my tablet away i'd switch over to JW.tv and tell her I'm on JW.org

  mom would be so proud and carry on ignoring me and feeling as though she's actually a good parent, possibly even counting the time as our family study... dad of course also since both parents get to count it.

  I would play my games, mom would get her scrap booking done, the WTS would have fatter service numbers, everyone is happy
