i want as much data as possible on the effect of the internet on the time captured by the cult.. please answer the three following questions about yourself or about someone you know (for example, if your parents or grandparents were jw's and left).

1) were you raised as a jw, or did you convert?.

i have been reading the watchtower study edition of march 2016. here some deceptive statements so as to justify their new lights:.

when were gods people held captive by babylon the great?.

that spiritual captivity lasted from the second century c.e.

I wonder if now them saying they were in "Babylon Captivity" from 2 century till 1919 they are moving away from Russells books, publications & teachings? Meaning they don't count since they were in Captivity & therefore not important because they were liberated in 1919 by an invisible Jesus.... it seems they know they can't run away from the fact that many are awakening by discovering TTATT & are changing the dates of "captivity"???

Are single sisters happier?

this question is for the ladies out there, but if you are a man and you'd like to share your thoughts on the following topic you are welcomed to do so.

given the wt society's view on women, did any of you ladies gave up on the idea of getting married "in the truth".

in such case, did you sometimes feel that you were missing out?

Many sister in the JW want to find a suitable JW mate, but it's hard, there are many many single sisters in ratio to jw men... i am saying this because I found myself single again at 28 yrs old, I got married to a JW at 23.....I mistakenly thought that I can only have a happy marriage if married to a JW, NOT TRUE, many couples married at abt the same time I did at early 20s, multiple problems because as you stated the dating system.... I gave up dating any JW, you do have more options outside of JW, since you will be going to college you will see options.... don't rush take your time in the future you may change ur mind but don't limit yourself to thinking you need to find a mate in JW, think about what will happen if you walk away from this religion & married to a devoted JW? ....

i dressed up in a hoodie, double layer so that the cameras at the kingdom hall couldn't recognize me.

i looked in the mirror up and down so i knew that the cameras, at least at the angle that i knew couldn't see my face.

i took this disassociation letter, stuck it in the envelope, labeled it, "(congregation's name...boe" by hand and sealed it.

@LevelThePlayingFeild: Definitely agree Stewart Angus did a fantastic job, I also loved when he brought up Deborah being a Judge a Woman being used by God....The WT also picks on only the Mathew account of the F& S not Luke's account...
