  If you were the GB, what would you do to prevent to coming demise of JWs?

  the current growth of jws no longer exceed the population growth, and in many educated countries it is now stagnant.

  http://www.jwfacts.com/index_files/statistics.htm in 50 years the whole 1914 thing will simply be an embarrasing irrelevance, so for the religion to even exist in 2057 will take some major doctrinal changes.. decrease is quite common for christian religions, except pentecostals, who are experiencing tremendous growth.

  maybe they have jesus' blessing.

  I think, sad to say, that the question assumes too much i.e. "the coming demise' is not a given IMO. Much as i might be glad to see the end of 'the evil empire', i can only see it continuing for many years. It's very size, or mass, provides some sort of permanence.

  I also don't see the GB sitting and planning such things; I really think they believe they are "God's organisation™" but I'm not so sure about them really believing they will rule the earth. Still I see that what concerns them is control ("over the Master's belongings"); demise doesn't enter into it for them.

  that im having another baby!!!!!.

  just done the test and the line came up straight away....... we were planning on falling pregnant in about three months and happend to fall pregnant straight away...im still in shock but had to share it with you all my family.

  my home town has maybe 500 people in it...with over 100 witnesses.

  how do you like that ratio?

  i have to move back for a while for a bunch of reasons and it totally sucks big time.. .

  Folks,

  I feel this is a regrettable situation - a poster comes on and is clearly breaking 'the rules' - how the heck can we moderate in a foreign language? - but at the same time we're sympathetic and would like to make connections with what's going on in other lands.

  Let's hope there becomes a way for this poster to contribute on JWD.

  Do you have an Australian accounting qualification? From what i understand, to be recognised and to practice as an accountant you need to be qualified in Australia.
